Just recently purchased the upgraded version of this and while similar it is different and also doesnt have those pressurised baskets and I have got it to the point that I now produce what for me is the perfect Espresso and I am working on my Latte art when I make the wife a cafe Latte
The rinse part is straight forward you just need to push the rinse button. Are you by chance holding the button down for too long if so a simple push will do. If you give me a more detailed step by step I can try to help 🙂
I am justing pushing the button, is all. It makes a sound like it's "pumping" or perhaps heating the water? but no water is coming out. This is the second machine doing this exact thing, so it must be that I'm doing something wrong.
@It's all about the dough I ended up calling Delonghi and they video conferenced with me and let me know it wasn't me. I had a broken machine TWICE! I went back to the store yet again and bought the la Specialista Arte instead. Too scared to get number three. So, the issue on two machines was not my fault.
This is a tough one , every bean is different , I start at 4 and work my way down. Find the flavour balance you like. If you're using a freshly roasted bean best to ask the master roaster what they would recommend. I usually go from 2 to the lowest setting. More often than not it's a fine setting.
Are you using the single or double filter attachment? Also make sure your not using the x2 serving button when making a single espresso. Or is the physical dial stuck? Let me know any more details and maybe I can help a little more . thanks Andy
@@itsallaboutthedough405 I’m using the single filter, the dose is just up to the line, I had grind set to about 4 position. Dial moves but just to the 8 o’clock position and doesn’t hold.
@@andytaylor2321 that definitely doesn't sound good . You may have a faulty machine . try removing the hopper and grind burr and using a vacuum to get rid of any residual beans. Something might be stuck. I will be posting a video soon on how to clean and remove the burr from the grinder. Hopefully that helps and your machine is fine.
EC9335 is the generic description for the model the letter beside it is its colour. M is metal finish , the one I use in this video is a EC9335 Bk (black) and there is also a EC9335 R (red) . There is a EC9355 which has a manual milk wand .
@@itsallaboutthedough405 awesome! Thank you! O have seen many comments of people that says that it stopped working after 2 or 3 months and that made me feel nervous haha I just bought it yesterday
@C S I think a lot of people who buy these machines don't want to put the effort in taking care of them tbh. A little tlc goes a long way. 2 tips don't use any after market descalers stick with the delonghi brand and also don't use an overly oily coffee bean .
Try following some of the steps in the video. Make sure to use the correct grind level and also grind amount. There is also a way to make the water hotter. The option is available in your owners manual. Perhaps I will make a video on some tips and tricks to make a better espresso.
this thing is such a piece of sh*t. I had literally every single element of it malfunction directly out of the box. Purchased from crate and barrel. I replaced it with the equivalently priced breville and am completely thrilled with its performance.
I'm very happy you found what you are happy with. Fortunately for myself I haven't had any problems. (Knock on wood) If I do, I will definitely keep everyone updated. I hear many good things about the Breville . Thank you for your insightful feedback. 🙏

I will try do the same u done so far
How come my machine is not grinding my coffee beans
Mine came in broke (yesterday) and I’m so sad. Trading it out and hoping the replacement works like I dream it will!
Did you get the replacement ? If so how's it holding up?
Is it possible to tamper manually? Have you ever tried?
I wish when you unboxed it, you went through the rinse part. I can't get mine to work.

@@sueleed6560 that's odd. Do you wait for all the lights to stop flashing? Then press the button?

Hi where did you buy your mugs?
Kitchen stuff plus
I can’t get the dial past 8 o’clock
Why would that be?

How to add water to make coffee??
The water tank is at the rear of the machine.
Love that machine! I also just got my first De’Longhi espresso machine!
Amazing 👌

Your grinding burrs are probably not installed properly. I believe I have a video showing how to clean the grinder and install it.
