What they don't tell you is that these were bombers not kitted out for doing dogfights. People are treating the Foxbat like it's a heavyweight champ because it beat up a disabled kid. What they also don't tell you in this story is how the USAF went back into the air just 2 days later. The IQAF sent TWO Foxbats, which were turned into immediate scrap metal after the USAF allowed them to shit their pants for a bit because the MiG's kept trying to run and hide. Foxbat is just a pug trying to fight pitbulls.

My father was the pilot of that Concord. BA-716 Skybird 3. He remembers watching the F-14’s approaching on his IR Radar. He also got several ‘lock’ tones, suggesting that the F-14’s were locked & ready to fire. He just pulled the rudder back & accelerated to 90,000ft, & flew over the F-14’s, & dropped some Hellfires down onto them.
