Such an effective move to maneuver through the defence, I'm just wondering why fewer and fewer players of today are using it. I mean the euro step and it's variations are effective but this move protects the ball, you can use this to change directions, freezes your defenders, you can do a half spin or some shimmy, pivot then turn to your opposite shoulder, or reverse pivot,then fade, or you can drop step, up and under with it draw fouls, you can pull off a lot of optionsfrom it and if the shot is not there you can drop it off to your teammates or kick it out for an open three. Imagine using it now where there's fewer defenders in the paint. Kobe man, I missed him😢

It’s ridiculous how on balance he is everyyyy singleeeee time regardless of who is guarding him, regardless of where he is positioned on the floor. I’ve seen NBA players make these shots in 1 on 1 and the best ones can make it consistently, but 5 on 5 is totally different because mentally you have more to process and read from a decision making standpoint, so there’s more form breakdown and more that can go wrong. It’s completely insane how his balance is always perfect in these situations. I’m lucky to make 50% of these shots with no one guarding me in an empty gym and that’s a good day. Kobe was a freak among freaks
