As someone who was on Isotretinoin when I was 14 years old with extreme healthy hair/overall health…it made my hair fall out drastically while I was in the middle of the course of treatment, it completely fell out where my temples are I now have bald patches, widows peak. That was what I was left with. It never grew back after treatment. I am now 28 and the hair is bald in those same places where I lost the hair, no baby hairs ever grew..nothing. People need to be properly informed. No it’s not genetics, I come from a family on both parent’s sides where the women all have long full head of hair well into their end of lives. No one on either side of my family has had the problem of temporal hair loss.

I would suggest taking biotin or other vitamin supplements for hairs during isotretinoin It helps

Not permanent i say but better than most of the product and medicines and yeah i’ve lost so much hair too but my hair genetic is good so but after taking isotretinoin for the second time for 4 months my hair became so much frizzy,damage,hair thinning and hair loss and also i only tooked 40mg a day and I don’t know if my hair will be same as before but now it had been one and half months of not taking isotretinoin and my hair not getting any better so im thinking of balding my hair so that it can regrew properly

I took isotretinoin for 4 months ... From 3rd months my hairfall started... And its been already 5th month starting after stopping isotretinoin still facing severe hairfall like i lost 65% of my hair...
