Excellent content
Nice video
55 yesrs retirement is a myth. In Indian context hardly anyone is retiring at 55 and also not possible due to societal pressure. Moreover, tons of jobs available at lower salaries which are quite decent also to sustain. We are moving slowly towards westernization increase prices, slow salary growth, invest in equity, work until long ages. All these calculations are meaningless in future
Over reacting anchor 🤢🤮🤮
❤ Dear sir, can you name PSU which has both base and super cover?
Dear Sir, can you name few Govt health insurance providers whom we can consider

Very good discussion and easy to understand. Thanks for your great service
Nice sir.. Need little deep about goal investment. Explain with excel with some x y examples that is easy to understand. Thanks
I am thankful for the enlightened discussion of Mr Pattu and the team. I am now 74 and retired from a public sector company where there is no pension. I retired in 2009. My retirement corpus was not much as I spent a good money for my daughter’s education in a foreign country during my retirement . I realised that the retirement proceeds amount was not sufficient and hence did my second innings for five years in a college. Though I have been in mutual funds since 2007 I did not invest much because of the uncertainty. However I subsequently realised the need of equity and started investing after my retirement . The strategy I used have been that Invest the money in fixed safe investment and out of the interest received, invest in mutual funds (ELSS, Large Cap and Hybrid). I have been continuing the same method even now and continuously building up my equity portfolio, which is presently 18% of my total investment. I have sometimes crossed through negative returns but since my investment is continuous now I am able to build up a reasonably good sum. Even though I have retired I invest around Rs 2 lakhs a year in mutual funds. I have no investment in stocks directly through I purchase direct stocks for my son ( buy and hold) and it is also in good shape. One should be continuous and never disturb the process. I live in my own apartment and my son and daughter are well settled. I am financially independent. Overall, as you have explained equity is a must for everybody. Thanks once again
Great Content. Thanks for you both
Also discuss about lumsum investment
❤
If i am investing 1 mutual fund for 3 goal and those goal are in different tenure. How to rebalance based on goal year
Open 3 separate folio for each goal with same AMC and same fund.
Go with a balanced advantage fund
If we split 50:50. First 50 is equity investment. What are component will present in fixed income to invest. Can anyone elaborate this ?? Thanks in advance
FD,RD and others
Debt mutual funds
Depending on duration on investment, you can either choose FD, RD, Liquid Funds, Arbitrage funds, money market funds or Gilt funds
For long term goal like retirement, debt part of portfolio should be mix safe instruments like liquid fund, arbitrage fund, FD in big banks etc. Your EPF is also part of debt (both EE/ER contribution) if you are an employee. Only two things dictate my debt part of portfolio : 1. Liquidity (without any lockin restrictions majorly) 2. Safety - This is most important. Risk should be taken with equity and not debt portion hence this rules out possible problematic candidates like UST fund, FD in small finance banks /NBFC etc
Excellent podcast
Excellent discussion.. please keep it up...❤
