I've had a few different hobbies and generally I over buy to learn and to see what I like. Then I trim the herd to a more manageabble number of around 3 give or take. Like the saying says "the more things you own, the more things own you."

I bought a Gibson Les Paul standard. It sounded and looked awesome but it was just too heavy. I sold it and bought a Gibson SG '61 and it's so much more comfortable. 2 different guitars though imo.
At least you were able to stay with Gibson though! Did you end up enjoying the SG? It’s nice when you want to buy from a specific brand and you find something that you’re able to connect with 😄
@@bjackson4 Yes, I really like the SG 61'. It just suits me. The new colors really sealed the deal for me. I bought the silver mist.

My guitar also started doing that ping after the first string change. I decided to change them for a lighter gauge. I was terrified at first, but by loosening the strings I noticed that it was something stuck on the first fret at the thinner strings… it was a bit hard but I managed to remove it with just my nail and a cloth. I had to use some force though. Perhaps it was some oxidation junk from the stings and not the fret itself. I saw that the date of manufacturing of my guitar was almost a year before I made the first strings change. I was only able to see that when I was making photos of it to send to Strandberg. I never sent the photos since I managed to fix it without much effort.

I have a Gibson ES335 Supreme and a fender Ampro II Strat. Yesterday I picked up one of these in black cherry and I feel like I stole it. It is such an amazing value for what you get compared to the other two brands

never mind the discounts, that will be all year probably. I bought the pearl 40w about 3 years ago when it first came out . they said , this 'pearl' was a 1 time offer only, and only a 1000 would be made so it would be a collectors item. once I ordered they decided to produce 500 more... and more....nowadays you can buy them whatever... so.. that's marketing. I think a bunch af people have collected one ! ... no reason really, lol...I think that was a BS move from the grid ! ...also.. ( I am from holland ) if I buy one at my guitar shop ( baxshop) I get 3 years warranty ( and for 15 bucks extra even 5 years !! ) so I will buy the new 50w pearl but not at their site! and yes I am a fan of these products. it works great ! really recommend it. and.... nice vid. thx !

The reverb sounds like a cheep $10 reverb pedal from china. Including all the other effect.
To each their own
It does not sound cheap and there are plenty of reverb pedal options that can be dialled in to your requirements. Just labelling it as a cheap pedal is really unfair.
Teles and humbucker a doesn't make sense, trad tele or nothing, or a different type of guitar
