Dude !!! You're checking the trigger weight and reset in the re-strike double action mode. That's like a revolvers trigger if you don't cock the hammer first. If you actually rack the slide first like you'd be using the gun when shooting it normal like the trigger is quite a bit lighter and the reset is actually pretty decent and short. 🤦

I have a G3C in .40 caliber. I plan on the two internal upgrades that you did from Lakeline. Since I've already ordered an Olight PL-2 mini I'll see if I have the same issue that you did. I'm old school trained on holding the pistol with both hands. I haven't embraced the whole thumb resting on the slide method so I might be okay. If it's a problem, I'll put it on my much larger S&W M&P .40 I was gifted when I retired from LE in NC. All in all, I'm satisfied with my G3C even with the slight increase in recoil compared to the 9mm.

I rather have the safety switch than not any day.

The issue that I see with a plate is that it blocks your natural sites. Because the hollow sun is sitting a little higher to be flush, the sites that come with the pistol are now too low.

"Keep tinkering" has trigger upgrades and you could check out "versacarry" or "gun and flower" for holsters that may work with the light.

They do make the G3 series in a number of safeties with or without left or right handed or ambidextrous very few stores will carry the options. I have one set up to where the safety acts as a slide lock not a safety.

I bought a pt111 g2 in 2017. I practice pulling it out of holster and click safety off. It becomes second nature. Not that hard to draw and flip safety.

When I go to the range, I just move the Baldr forward, zero issues.

Your demostration of the triger IS wrong. You have to action the slide yo have the real triger, otherwise you get the heavier restrike heavier pull

I probably have about 700 rounds through mine. The trigger has a lot of take-up, but the wall is defined, the break is crisp, and the reset isn't too bad. I've had it about a month. I have a few other pistols, but this is the only one with a thumb safety so I have actually been carrying it instead of my Hellcat Pro.

You might want to check CAA under barrel picantinny for 1911 rail attachment. It's actually well built.

My problem with this light is, it moves when i fire, cant seem how to make it sit tighter on the rail.

This is one of my 3 main carry guns. I have a shield 40 for small as possible carry. A Glock 17 with a full size light and red dot. And the G2c right in the middle of capacity and size. It's perfect. Taurus still makes this weapon brand new. I'd take this over the G2c because the slide dimples are nicer than serrations for slide operation. It's really one of my favorites. I do want to replace my sights. I had an optic plate but it came loose a few times so I took it off.

The only thing missing in the Taurus DA/SA guns is a decocker; that would be ideal: rack, load, decock, and you are ready for a double action first round without having to remember to release the safety. Perfect.

Great video and information. I have a Glock 43X MOS Gen5 model. The Holosun HE 507K-GR X2 arrives with two packages of different diameter (thickness) sized screws: one set is thin at 3.89 mm, the larger at 4.83 mm. You need to use the larger diameter size screws. They will fit the thread wells on the Glock slide perfectly. The others will just spin all day. More importantly, the screws that came with the Holosun - are too long . If left at this length the screw WILL hit the Extractor Depressor Plunger Rod when you torque down at the recommended 15 inch/pounds per Holosun. I confirmed this in my initial test install. When adding the C+H adapter plate on the slide with the Holosun you'll need to remove exactly 1 mm or 0.042 thousands of an inch from the screws. This will be a two "thread" file down from the tip of the screw. I based the screw length needed from measuring the Glock's MOS cover plate - "showing" screw length - that protruded from the bottom of the MOS cover plate. Please check for yourself.

I just ordered 1 for $29 from magpul. I think im going to have an issue with the extra length after the holes too so i ordered 2 sizes up hoping it will reach my next belt loop. If not i will trim it and hopefully it will not delaminate. I will reinforce the frimmed end if it compromises it. And i have a leather hole puch to add loops if i went too big. I dont mind moding my stuff to make it perfect. How has it held up for you?

Ok....im 2 years late but i did do all those upgrades except for that front sight. In an adrenaline rush encounter, the front sight is the last thing im looking at. No time for that. Bang Bang first, target hit or miss, cover next, its not target practice. Oh well....just me. Fun at the range.

Love the keep tinkering reset range, only downside is it takes away the doublestrike the factory trigger comes with. Easy install and like I said, makes the trigger feel like a glock’s. After that, it’s a whole new gun.

I own g2c i had it cut and colored for holosun 507k love it in bronze. Short flat Trigger upgrade along with Lakeland upgrades. Love it. I also own G3 Toro. Ah hate the plate system i would have got a normal cut. Its probably getting put in an MCK anyway. Exelent: Galloway Precision Asmund Short Stroke Trigger
