It's a great wheel, even the pedals are great. I just wish they offered more wheel rims and a new shifter & handbrake. They seem to be taking their sweet a** time with it.

@@BecksDrives to be honest, I’m guess is either of 3 things. 1 hasn’t sold well = no wheels or accessories to come 2 Logitech never planned to release anything more then base package 3 they release a half arsed f1 wheel and nothing else not even handbrake or shifter. I’m not greedy. All I want is 4 more wheels of high quality 2 round 2 f1 high quality handbrake and same with shifter. I mean if it sold as bad as I think, there’s no way on earth Logitech will release anything else. Why make products that they know they can’t sell because hardly anyone bought the wheel.

@@grahamkelly8662 It's hard to know really. I know their entry level wheels sell like hotcakes but not so sure about their DD. I'm also after a ROUND wheel, please Logitech give us a round wheel! They must have planned more accessories at some stage considering there are USB ports on the back for them.

@@BecksDrives or did they put the extra USB ports to TRICK the customers into thinking that more is on the way? I even went on Logitech support, other night and asked questions and basically got zero information. They did however kinda insult me by recommending the fisher price toy shifter. I think I’ll just buy 1 soon to get into quality racing and if they don’t up their game in a year or so, sell it and move on. I swear g pro has been out nearly 1.5 years now. Part of me just wants to be happy that I have a direct drive option, other then the more problematic Fanatec and part of me is unsure. Last year or so, I’ve switched between Fanatec and Logitech as options, bloody daily. I get set on Logitech and then I see Fanatec videos and I’m like fuck it. Risk Fanatec order and hope it goes ok. Then I see more videos about Fanatec orders takin months to arrive, faulty products etc and am put off, again. I almost ordered the new 15Nm wheelbase for ps5 from Fanatec, in November, along with all the bits I needed and I’m so glad I didn’t because Fanatec have to delay release of wheelbase because they don’t even have the license, to sell it, yet. They happily took peoples money and mugged them off.

GT7 is optimised for VR especially its graphics for VR. That in itself is an amazing experience. Iracing is a different experience. Ugly and not relevan to this video. Veriety is the spice of life and its fantastic that we can enjoy a visualy optimised experience in VR thanks to GT7. Physics are fun in GT7 and you can really enjoy your drive in fun ways that Iracing will not let you. Hope your having fun and enjoying yourself simracing buddy. Its great that we have such a vast selection of games we can choose from these days.

Yes! Logitech need to bring out a new “g pro” shifter already. I’d like to see some more wheel rims too. Handbrake would be awesome, I’ve got the Thrustmaster TSS handbrake which I use for PC but unfortunately can’t use it with the Logitech gear on PS5. What’s taking them so long. Inverted pedals would be nice, I also prefer them inverted. Can’t the pedals just come out of the pedal base? They’re all connected to the one module I think. Then you’ll need to mount them to a custom base I guess. A bit of a hassle.

I've never had a console until late 2022, and I just can't get enough of GT7/ACC, PS5 with G Pro setup. It feels the same as what my car feels on the track - it's quite addictive lol

​@@BecksDrivesThank you. Last week I spent 3 hours adjusting the G Pro settings and it finally feels great, very communicative, allows me to feel the car sliding. Ended up fine tuning it by 0.1Nm and up/down by 1 on the filters/dampener. It's such a great wheel.

Yeah, unfortunately the resolution is much lower in VR to maintain a high frame rate.

I tried, to relieve the eye strain, but my performance is much worse on a flat screen now. In VR you "feel" your car ocupying a volume in space. The field of view is much wider. Perception of distance and ascent / descent is incomparably greater. Can't go back :)

Yeah for sure. Would be nice to have a resolution bump and I wish the psvr2 came with pancake lenses like the quest 3. That makes a world of difference compared to the fresnel lenses on the psvr2.

@@BecksDrives you and me both... But you cannot deny how easy it is to setup and get into the PSVR2 immediately.... And GT7... As much as I mod my AC, it'll never be close to GT7 in terms of content... Sure it's missing my favorite track Buttonwillow, but it has everything else...

@@samgao The pick up and play aspect of gt7 is unmatched. AC modded is fantastic but honestly I haven’t been playing it lately. I’ve been super impressed with gt7 and playing it in VR with the realistic lighting and overall polish, I haven’t gone back to AC in a while. I will have to give AC another go on the quest 3.

I've had it for about a year. It's a great wheel I have no complaints. It has great force feedback, it's smooth, adjustable, silent, reliable and all the buttons and switches feel nice to use and are easy to reach with a good layout. It's rock solid and is very easy to attach and detach the wheel, much easier than the Fanatec CSL DD and GT DD Pro I had. I've never run into an issue, and it has worked flawlessly on PC and PS5. The magnetic shifters feel great, so does the leather on the wheel rim. I'm glad I got it. I just wish the wheel was round instead of D shaped and hope that Logitech offer more wheel rims and a better "pro" branded shifter in future.

@@oscarlebron2086 you can’t really go wrong with either of them, they’re both great. I wasn’t a big fan of the default wheel rim on the fanatec GT dd pro, but ofcourse fanatec offer a ton of other wheel rim options.
