Can i ask? What will happen if the traditional AT is always shift from D to N to D to N to D in a traffic? I heard in few days that shifting to neutral from d to n to d in a traffic the tcm will damage?

GMB Water Pump PDF says: "Apply liquid sealant lightly and evenly on both sides of new gasket. Do not apply sealant for O ring or metal gasket." I am confused. Who is right?

As a mechanic that runs his own shop, I can honestly say that if I'm changing a timing belt and water pump: I reach for an AISIN kit every time. I like how educational this video is, it shows the lengths that AISIN goes to maintain the quality of their product.

I’m guessing many ended up on this site for the same reason I did which was my 2019 taco (11K) not engaging into 4low, and when it does, it won’t come out. And You absolutely can replace the actuator without removing and splitting the case. However,try this “trick” first if You have a 6 speed manual. I call it a trick because I have absolutely no idea what makes it work, but it does. If it won’t engage, or disengage from 4 lo, put the gear shift in neutral and fully depress the clutch 2 times. As you are releasing the clutch pedal the second time, you will hear it “click” into place. I just found this out, thought it was BS, but it works every time!

At one time, Aisin TKT-002 Kit included springs. The TKT-002 I just rec'd was missing the springs I've seen in other videos-- why not included?

Hi. I have a huge problem with BMW E46 water pump housing. It is pretty corroded. If I clean out all the corrosion, the diameter of course will slightly enlarge. Someone recommended Aidin FIPG to create additional gasket. I wonder if you guys can help me with advice. I have pictures of the new water pump with its rubber o-ring and corroded housing. Thank you.

Oct 2022 Number one thing to do is examine the impeller the old pump to see if its plastic and damaged - does it just spit freely because the shaft connection is reeamed out. If s then replace the impeller and reinstall. Or go to Toyota and by a new OEM pump for $450 bucks.
