No, because I know they are snow shoes :)
One moment but can I have a seat belt? It's very same as when you drive a Willis Jeep, no seat belt
The homing beacon is kind of useless, I prefer killing him for the outfit.
stabilize the barrel bc its so long
they arent to stabilise the barrel. they are just the vertical drive pistons which couldnt fit inside the tank so they were fitted on the oustide
Sry but: Sources? Otherwise a good video😄👍🏻

okay now explain how the driver sees anything without a optic
This tank shoots only laser no radiation (non-radioactive) light that was bundled by 30kg artificial ruby / per lens. Yes, there are only two prototypes that are not being developed further for *cost reasons* (no one knows if that is the case) but the tests that were carried out with one of the prototypes were extremely effective due to the high heat exposure within a short time Vehicles (drones, helicopters, etc) as well as rockets and bombs can be effectively repelled/fighted against. How do I know? I once had the honor of seeing one of these tanks in person and the soldier / guard / overseer. explained to me everything I was allowed to know (which corresponded to the release of information that I was allowed to use)
Stupid video. The purpose of these devices was to jam the optronics of enemy tanks and other vehicles.
Thanks
Possibly a electrical assisting traverse?, like on the steering wheel of your car
Basically a hat to cover avenger tanks non existent bald roof
Yeah no. The Avenger wasn't a tank, but it was a self-propelled tank destroyer. SPG implies an indirect gun or howitzer, which the Avenger definitely wasn't. Gaijin plays very loose and fast with its classifications. The top was not a "tarp". The Brits called it a "canopy" and it was to protect the open top turret from artillery fragments, the same as was fitted to the M-36s late and post war. The mesh screens shown were blinds to prevent snipers from being able to shoot the crew as they were looking out thru it.
I think its actually rather ingenious
Does it protect you from the natural elements/weather? Yes. Does it save you from overpressure? Absolutely not.
Basically it's there to stop anything precious getting damaged by debris.....like the Kettle or your Tea bags.... interestingly enough some historians believe the first documented usage of this type of improvised british armour was when Nigel covered his brewing vessel with Tiffin!! to soak up shrapnel.
It’s canvas
Fumes extraction blinds
It also seems like the turret rotation speed with a discharged battery amount is the similar for most vehicles which doesn't make much sense as the weight and size of different turrets can vary a lot. This gets annoying on vehicles like the Wiesel 1A4 or R3 T20 which probably have some of the lightest turrets in the game yet when the battery dies, the turret rotation rate is slower than that of a Panther D.
I mean, since they are and only exists as an address space in electronic memory, you're technically not wrong. Really, its because Gaijin never bothered to implement different instances of the "unpowered" code for the different vehicles based upon if they had power or manual controls. I'm sure we'll see this bug fix.... any -day- year now...
same with the swedish milk truck (although that might be electically assisyed idk)
Swedish "milk truck", I love it
Always wondered why they'd become so sluggish after turning off the engine. This explains everything lol.
Just take it as if they where real life scale rc warfare; the servos are disguised as people and the battery runs out because the alternator stops working.
Really made me chuckle! :)
Literally like a car , without assisted direction when it's off is really hard to turn
You mean power steering? :D
@@Leolocke1 ah yes that, I forgot the name
@@matanegros3000 But the AS42 gun turret doesn't have a power assisted turret :(
@@Leolocke1that's what they want you to think
Well no power steering in a car only makes it hard to turn at low speeds and if a vehicle is light enough, it has no need for power steering
this is so random
Old music!!!
log = when your tank is stuck in the mud initially.
Russian tanks needs log, to log in :)
Kuch bhi

Beethoven - Symphony No.7 in A major op.92 - II, Allegretto

How the hell did 2 people fit into that thing
LUBE
One normal sized person and a thin midget had to operate the german L3
The Wiesel isn’t small, it’s at least average… probably has a great personality as well…
modernized L3
Isn't there another Wiesel in War Thunder, 1a2?
yeah the absolute rat bastard with the tow launcher
There is 3 of them
the 1a4 is the base variant, the 1a2 has a tow, and the ozelot has 4 stingers
lmao you got killed by a youtuber in the first clip
Friendly fire :(
I will still stick to my reasoning that it is for shitting in
“This, is a bucket.” -Spy
Look more like entire *"Ground"* Realistic Mode
Yeah """"""Ground"""""""" ☠
The original cope bucket
Very useful for Germany and Russia players when they finally meet something that actually requires them to aim.
I heard of the myth and I always wondered why it isnt carved out or else the bucket would just fly off when firing. Before the myth I simply believed it was there on whichever tank they were using to model or saw it somewhere and thought to keep it there
Yeah the whole myth seems a bit bonkers the more you think about it
The reason is to trick german scout to report that there is IS2 heading this way and make them prepare bunch of defendsive stuff it would be a great moment for soviet 152mm artillery barrage
@@FRFFW You do realise that is the myth we are talking about, right? Just proves you didnt even listen to the video. But the bucket still has a base so you cannot fire lest you blow the cover, literally. Then theres the topic of how would they have kept it on the barrel. Its a fairly smooth circle and so is the bucket. They would have had terrain among other variables to consider in order to keep it on the barrel
@@sea1_455 But the fact that it hanging on that part of the tank i wounder how did they get it out 😂😂😂
The entire video i was just getting random flashbacks from 2015
that cannon is a "field cannon" russia didnt bother to mod the chassis so they kept the wheeles X,D
I absolutely love this vehicle, one of my favorite SPAAs
i thought it was pretty obvious that it was just a zu emplacement chucked onto a modified BMD-1 chassis. good video nonetheless.
orginally that's AA they put it on BTR so it now SPAA
so they are there because the AA gun is it's own weapon system and it can be mounted on the BTR or transported by wheels.
Yep. Airborne troops are meant to deploy, take point, entrench and kill hostiles as regular troops make a break for them. Sometimes it take too much time and team has to bail on it's own or move their defences, sometimes the original LZ is too hot. That's why whole BMD vehicle lineup exists - these are meant to be airdropped with troops inside for a fast roll out. Kinda obsolete these days since modern recon effectively nullify ability to land really big surprise attacks. Also, jet-assisted landing platforms kinda killed the need to make a specialized vehicle, you just need to squeeze it withing weight distribution and weight allowance margins. Still, enemy usually don't like to eat the big guns from position where it physically can't get on it's own. He starts to sweat, twitch and sometimes get tungsten/RDX-assisted stroke.
NOTE: Guess I forgot to mention the concrete answer to the question, but the wheels are specifically used to MOVE the AA gun on the ground... you know, when it's not strapped to the top of a BTR :)
WHAT ARE THE WHEELS FOR DOE?
For moving the ZU-23-2 AA gun! You screw the "feet" on the turret frame down, to get enough clearance, then you flip the wheels down vertically and hook the whole gun onto a vehicle, which then pulls it.
@@Leolocke1 won't it tip over?
@@eotorpex2694 я проверял. С транспортировкой нет никаких проблем :) Отличая система, в условиях города крайне эффективна)
@@eotorpex2694 On the ground it definitely won't as long as you've set it up correctly. But, I'm pretty sure we could get the BTR-ZD to tip over if we angle it very steep and fire a full salvo (in-game that is)
The most stupid video on youtube today. Why does this BTR with a towed anti aircraft gun on its back have wheels! Maybe because its a *towed anti aircraft gun, literally held down by wires and leveled by chopped wood?* Yeah, it's big brain time.
German first tank destroyers before 2 world war had this type of engineering too)
Been playing for years and just now found out about this. Cool vid.
