I was with my wife in Manila airport and before we got into the taxi we asked the taxi booth how much from A to B. They gave us a price. Then when we got in the taxi and drive to the destination the driver requested nearly double what was originally told to us. He thought he could take advantage of a foreigner and a cebuana we said "No you gave us an original price and we have it on video, we can put it on RUclips" so he reverted back to the original price lol. After that experience we just always choose Grab-Taxi (fixed price on the phone app) we just thought its convenient to hop in a taxi without needing to fiddle with the phone but now we know better. Grab-Taxi only. scammers everywhere when they hear you're not locally from the country or region!
