My request for accommodation was stymied significantly for about 2 months delayed. I was inadequately accommodation by an ill prepared and ill-trained manager and assistant manager. be The employer took away my legal rights to use the bathroom to pee more often; I was told I was not disabled despite thatI fit on the definition of the ADA, I am a qualified individual with disability. is this a ADA discrimination/failure to accommodate?

Within months left job site in ambulance ❤ so grateful for my Partner on duty he saved my life❤ struggling to live with lo longer working, too sick with Graves Disease,,, not a coincidence many people have developed same illness since. Can't get disability in Ontario because they don't agree Graves Disease is a disability!!! So what do we do now? Take medication for life, not be physically strong enough to work,,,, I resigned out of respect to my scheduler, had to tell her I am not reliable.

mine has rapists in it, one fracture my back, they have not paid me in 15 months, they owe me in compensation alone 280k , then hit and run = 15k, then forcing me to leave my home = 800k; then blocking me from getting job = 300k, and many more, so it equoates to 2 million dollars in owed compensation and criminal and felony activities against me. Why do they hack my home pc and listen on my home phone>? I am old lost my job 1.5 years ago and got no severence and no benefits; i have a disability too and female in a field that is primarily male, all of a sudden they all want to be secretaries too

Tx: refused doctors note for 3 days following life threatening injury. Was not given light duty or time off. I went to work being told it was at risk if I did not show up following my er visit. I ended up having internal bleeding caused at work… now it’s an issue cuz I’ve been an employee for 11 months and 1 week; no FMLA, not honoring federal emergency medical protocol or legal note.

hello just curious- I had a mental and physical issue that took me out of work a few years back. I was given my three month leave. My boss never contacted me once lied and said she did. I received a letter after 3 months from HR due to undue hardship they need to replace my position. I was replaced after 17 years offered no extension. I received another letter later that I could reapply within that organization but my boss made it clear to other coworkers that wouldn't happen. I was told by my mental health facility to go for disability and they would back me up. When the time came all the judge said she needed was an additional form from mental health place the person that promised they would back me up never filled out the forms for me. I did try and return to work and my old boss refuses to answer calls from prospective employers and this place is my only reference my entire career was here. That put me back down to continue disability case.I never really had an issue in my employment except one time, I needed to have shoulder surgery and be off for a bit. I started getting bullied and harrassed out of the blue one day by employees close to my old boss as my surgery date approached. It caused me a nervous breakdown but I kind of recovered and went back. It just seems if I never went for that shoulder surgery I needed my life would be so much different, I wouldn't of been harrassed into a nervous breakdown. HR laughed and blamed me but covered there own butts and thats it. After that I told my boss I was bipolar stupidly thinkin that would excuse my breakdown. Nope she went and told everyone and then I had to deal with everyone playing games on whether Im I psycho or not cause I like the color orange candy. Trust me this is real and sorry Im all over the place. guess I just had to get that out cause theres nothin I could do and none cares or would help. Just pray nothing ever oes wrong cause then you see peoples true colors!

Im a teacher , I didn't qualify for fmla since I'm new to the district but had about 70 hours combined of sick and personal leave , which I used after childbirth. In total, I took about 177 hours (or 39 days of lwop). I am now being told that they're making me pay back (deducting my paychecks) for money owed but NEVER explained this to me. What should I do? I owe about 7k 😢 I cannot live off of $325 a paycheck with a newborn.

All i ask is my employer supplies seating for employees. I have a herniated disc bulging over an inflamed nerve. Cancer survivor, degenerative disc disease, ankylosing spondylitis. And generally, my body gives out on me after 15 hours a week. And that fluctuates. My issue is pain and nerve issues which cause moving to be an extreme problem. I request not to be in certain positions at work and again basic seating. I doubt those requests go outside of reasonable accommodation. But i wonder is going to HR will actually help at all?

I’m still employed in NY state. But after I put in a concern regarding a protected law ‘mandate reporter’ that employer is not following, then a week later I’m moved into another position, it appeared on my work evaluation, so therefore there is retaliation. Then I’m put with a woman instrumental with lying about coworkers, which got fired months after their move to work with her. I’m being set up. Now I’m recording all my conversations or private meetings with director or supervisor, I’m journaling everything, I have a copy of my work evaluation, I have several witnesses (coworkers) that have seen, heard, or know of what is going on. I know I will need to do an email of non threatening complaint but not sure what to include so it is just written proof. So I see very well what is going on. My question is: can I or should I hire a lawyer before my inevitable termination?
