Santa's Workshop was completely dry Let's use it anyway!
The Kur isn't what pulls from the cuticle. I misspoke it is the Seche. I'm hoping to do my NYE set before Sunday but it may be late...

I removed all the super loud noise from tools being set down and returned the new mic 🤣 so it's rather choppy. I'm sorry 😒😔

Thanks for showing how to work with very dried out sets! That was interesting!
Deck the Halls is gorgeous!
Finally, someone shows us how to do this! I just did my mani a few days ago, and I'm going to do this! Thank you!
@@dezertgemmsn1673 you're welcome! Just don't use color street remover (works too fast) and do one nail at a time til you know what to expect from the remover you use!
@blackcat799 I use mineral fusion! The best!
Do you do this again after applying clear as day?
@dezertgemmsn1673 yes
Your nails look great! What do you put on before Color Street ?
I don’t have a clue either-glitter dip sets are like petite sets to me & still a stylist 😂 Gorgeous mani! Great lighting & good quality vid!! #nails

That's awesome that you ended up trading a few of the same sets! That happened with one set between me and my Advent Swap partner as well. We both giggled about it!
Where was the mic placed in relation to your work area? Was it one you clip to your lapel? A headset style? Something you set on the table? You naturally have a quieter voice and it doesnt have very much resonance. (it doesn't carry as far across space, ie.people at the back of an autotorium would have a hard time understanding you from the stage, possibly even if you yelled.) People with your type of voice are hard to mic up! I was a theatre kid in high school and a technical theatre major in college for a year. I was more into lights than sound, but I got some good experience in both. Without investing in a zillion dollars worth of advanced audio equipment, I would suggest maybe considering a headset style mic that you can adjust to get it very close to your lips. It moves it closer to the quiet sounds you are struggling to pick up (your voice) and moves it away from your surface and tools. This might naturally equalize the balance without having to edit so heavily. One that is designed for people who use speech recognition software like DragonNaturallySpeaking might be a good place to start because their mics are designed specifically pick up the details of vocal speech well in order for the software to be able to accurately translate it. They are sensitive specifically to human voices, in essence.
@@VensVibrantNailsandBeauty It was a blue something and it was a large mic. It was about 2 ft in front of me on the desk. My husband replaced it with the kind that you attach to your like shirt, so I tried that one for the one I just recorded today and we'll see if that's better. I am very quiet unless I want to be loud 🤣
Yesssss i have a heated mat on my nail table and i love it 😊
Heated mats are the bomb-diggity!
These turned out so good!! 😍
@@jessraepierre3 awe thanks! I should get a mat then?
@blackcat799 yesssssss I found one pretty cheap on Amazon, but it was two winters ago. Mine is just a plain black one, but I have a silicone nail one on top so my remover doesn't damage the heated one
@@jessraepierre3 oh that's a good idea. I've already damaged my current mat with Remover.

I was a vegetarian for nearly 6 years and I totally relate to the "feeling grossed out" about the huge turkey carcass. Meat is a psychological mind f*** for me to eat. No bones or organs. Absolutely NOTHING that has eyes still! Not trying to be identified by something I ate when I get to the afterlife! 😂 And honestly, the less like a large slab of flesh the better as well! 🤷🏼♀️
@@VensVibrantNailsandBeauty lol. Do you still eat meat if it's not identifiable from its origin animal? I don't know. We were raised big meat eaters and if I go without eating meat for 3 or 4 days I start to feel really sick. I think it's possibly because I run on the low side for iron....
@@blackcat799 yes. I eat meat now. But not very much of it. And I eat it for the iron as well. And I gag down a can of tuna fish about once a month for the nutritional properties of fish also. Haha. I was a vegetarian in high school and through a couple of years of my first marriage. I band had stomach ulcers in HS during this time. The ulcers were not from my diet, but the Iron deficiency definitely was! Iron supplements are notorious for being rough on digestive tracts, so we had to switch to a special kind of liquid iron pill that had a gelatinous coating and was easier on the stomach. I guess they made it mostly for pregnant people who are also experiencing morning sickness. I was a minor at the time, on my dad's insurance, and he got insurance on my sister and I that expressly didn't include pregnancy care. 🙄This caused the insurance to constantly reject that specific form of iron. My mom and the doctor had to constantly fill out exemption paperwork explaining that I wasn't pregnant and why they were choosing this more expensive special iron pill over regular iron pills. It was absolutely ridiculous.
Yuck! I'm sorry you've been feeling so crummy! I hope you are feeling better by now.
@@VensVibrantNailsandBeauty yes thank you! Not all better but 50%?
@blackcat799 I mean, that's an improvement. I hope it continues to trend that direction!

I inow that you have probably now done your evaluation since you've filmed this. I hope things well and the drive went well also.
The drive was fine too and back. The funny thing is is that it snowed like the next day up there so I'm glad that we went up the day that we did. The evaluation wasn't very much fun, but it did show some useful things that I think will be helpful in the future. Like apparently I have absolutely no balance with my eyes closed. And apparently that's normal for my condition.
I love the swoops. I cannot believe you made 2 swoops with one strip! I am really impressed! I just sort of default to sacrificing whole strip per swoop when I do them, which is why I don't do them very much!
I love that swimming has been so helpful for you. I used to do VanLife and was in the PNW in December of 2020, living in my 1993 Chevy Suburban, remote camping in the mountains. With wet hair in the cold, I would suggest getting a towel specifically for your hair that wraps and has the little loop to help it stay on. Put an old cotton Tshirt around your wet hair, and then the hair towel wrap thingie over that after swimming. It will absorb a lot more water without having to use heat or rub it with your towel for 10,000 years. Comb/brush it out with a wide tooth comb or even with your fingers whatever, which helps it get more air to continue air drying, and wrap it in just the towel wrap again, and then put a big chunky knit stocking cap over the towel wrap for going home. I know it will probably feel silly, but to everyone else, they won't know that you have a towel under your stocking cap. They will assume you have your hair all tucked up inside it. People who veil (hijabs and tichels and turbans and stuff like that) use volumizers a lot under their headscarves. I've seen people use leggings and t-shirts and all sorts of crap under their scarves to just create volume. And your towel will be serving a higher purpose than just for fashion, though there is nothing wrong with that either. 🤣 I promise you've seen these people and not known they were wearing leggings on their heads. 😉 No one will know or care if they do know. The towel wrap creates a lot of air pockets under the cap that traps extra body heat to keep wet heads warm. 😉 I don't own a hair dryer or a curling iron or even heated curlers. And I only bought a flat iron to reseal my CS sets. I have ultra virgin hair under my scarves that rarely ever even sees hair product of any type other than shampoo and conditioner. I get it! These helped me stay warm with wet hair while living in a vehicle and showering at Planet Fitness.
@@VensVibrantNailsandBeauty I didn't know they made hats that were that big. I need to find a hat that's that big! I was going to stuff all of my hair in a wool hat but it would only fit my hair if that. Do you know what those hats are called? The big ones you're talking about?
@blackcat799 I'm a big fan of Etsy because you can talk with the sellers about how big you want or if you'd like extra length for your hair/towel. I literally type in "big chunky knit stocking caps" into Google or Etsy or Amazon and come up with a ton of stuff to choose from.
@blackcat799 Also, hats and caps and tubes intended for people who have locs are a great option if you want a ton of room. Some of them are super long and I think a more daring person could wear them as a tube top mini dress! 🤣
I hope you are feeling better.

I'm going to have to pick your brain a little about your favorite groups for buying and selling partials and stuff! I am glad people enjoy being stylists, but I prefer being a customer, so I stopped being a stylist after just 3 months. Stylists technically aren't allowed to buy from Stash and GOOB groups, and I was feeling very held back by that rule.
