    One. I sorta had a Mandela Effect moment, because upon checking in the OG Love book, the sun actually set in the west. Bruh. Way to kill a funny gag, past me. Two. To eschew any confusion on the “Die Hard” comparison, Stephan and his goons commandeer a high-rise. His friend/possible brother, the hero of the story, has to find a way to stop him before he kills/enslaves humanity. Final standoff is at the shelter(?) though, I think, not the high-rise. Though I thiiink the shelter and the high-rise both blow up (or burn down or sumthin). Because…why wouldn’t they lol. And yes I cheated and looked, for most of this info. Three. I’ve never seen “Felidae” (clip with all the zombie cats on puppet strings) but I want tooo. The concept was the main inspo behind OG “Beautiful Disasters”. Four. I don’t even know what some of these gifs/clips are from lol. Most are just here for aesthetic/placeholder purposes. Five. Hyperbole is used en masse in this vid. Six. Further correctional stuffs in description. Seven. Peace. ✌️ ☮️

    Is the last speech from Judge Holden about evil,the reason why I ask this question is mainly due to some of the things he said in the speech and how the author wrote it.Seeing the "he'll never die" made me think Cormac was writing about evil and how it will never die,from the murder of Cains brother from the biblical ages to Modern day crimes and "he dances in light and shadow and is a great favorite"with the"he never sleeps" quote could have possibly been about how evil acts are committed anywhere at anytime.

    • @owliiie
      @owliiie Час назад

      It’s been a hot minute since I’ve read it at this point, but I could definitely see Judge Holden being a metaphor for evil altogether. A lot of people like to say he’s a personification of the Devil, which I think would track too. At the very least, that speech could be about acts of evil, as a pastime, an obsession, a favorite of mankind.

    I believe the Strange Man is a combination of both the Grim Reaper and Satan. His deal with Herbert Moon seems far too insidious for him to *only* be the personification of Death. Furthermore, the Skinner Brothers of Tall Trees say that they worship a 'Prince of Darkness,' who is also referred to as a 'Gentleman.' Why would Death of all apparitions, one who is firmly set in the moral gray area, inspire people to commit such heinous acts? I'm not saying that the Strange Man isn't Death, but there's a lot more going on beneath the surface than people think.

    The BEST Cartel Movie I Have Ever SeeN - Sixff Hostiles and Wind River: America's Unresolved Grief - Like Stories of Old Why I Absolutely LOVE Hostiles - The Positive Picture Show Prisoners: Exploring Morality - Jack's Movie Reviews: A movie about good verses evil, in a EXTREMELY realistic way. However, like the review, the movie is a difficult watch. It’s sad. Prisoners: Symbolism Done Right - Storytellers The Twisted Horror of SE7EN Explored - FilmComicsExplained True Detective vs. Se7en: Creating Light Amongst the Dark - Lessons from the Screenplay In Defense of Bone Tomahawk - PBJ - in this one, this RUclipsr disproves this other RUclipsr’s movie. It’s wicked because PBJ is obviously extremely smart. The RUclipsr he’s disproving is extremely ignorant. The brilliance of it is that PBJ disproves this guy’s opinion and theories all without being insulting. Literally just with amazing facts and critiques. Not everything will be useful cus they’re giving reviews of movies. However, I feel like there’s elements they bring up and discuss that will really help with writing. Regardless of whether it’s script or a book that you’re writing. There are doubles on the list, but the doubles talk about entirely DIFFERENT things. Therefore, they’re both worth watching. Trust me though! All of them are worth watching. I'm obsessed with listening to other people's opinions on some of my favorite movies. I also listen to the reviews to help further my creativity in my brainstorming. Each of these literally gave me different things due to the different elements they talked about. They reminded me A LOT of you. They were ALL terrific. I watch them time and time over. Anyway, I think they may help with your writing. That said, I'll leave it to you to decide. You may not want to watch them all, but I assure you they're all terrific, and not that long. I hope your book is coming along well. I'd love to read it some day.

    I love your channel because of the fact that you wax nostalgic about the things you love. I don't know myself enough to know what I like. Hobby wise anyway. I dont think I'll ever know. Outside of movies, and listening to people talk about their opinions on life, their hobbies, movies, books, and art. I lie. I loved your Red Dead analysis and I've never played any video games outside of Mario Kart. You're very articulate. You've got a great voice, and I love the topics you choose. Plus, you attract people that seem like they have some of your qualities. That cat above, just based on what he or she said, they seem cool. Thank you for your videos. They help me fight against the temptation of becoming mysenthropic and apathetic. Not sure if that makes sense. Anyway, it was awesome to see another video. Thank you. Not sure if it'd be something you'd be into. It's a movie involving the Seven Deadly Sins, and it's called 'Se7en'. It's gritty and has a great storyline. However, be forewarned. It's gruesome at certain parts. It's extremely dark and it's very....dystopian 🤔. But there's some REALLY great dialog. I saw some videos doing film analysis on my favorite movies. They seemed like they'd be of great help to your book. It wasn't the content but the great breakdown of writing and in-depth detail that was amazing. I'll see if I can remember which channels they were. How's your book coming along.

    • @owliiie
      @owliiie 18 дней назад

      It’s coming along well. I’ve been doing some editing and such. I’ve heard of “Se7en”. I think I saw a few bits and pieces of it forever ago. Cool concept. I need to sit down sometime and watch it proper. I’m bad about that with watching movies; I usually come in at weird places and watch some here, some there. Rarely do I sit and indulge myself with an entire movie haha. I used to watch movie reviews all the time, for entertainment of course, but also as a coaching tool for how to properly construct a narrative and how to avoid the stuff that made a story bad. It was a pretty effective learning tactic, and I got a lot of laughs in the process. And yeah, I’ve got a misanthropic side to me that’ll occasionally rear its head-but then I see nice people like you and these other commenters and it kinda quells the negativity. It’s nice to feel like there’s still good in the world, and like people value you and what you have to say. :)

    • @johndoh4132
      @johndoh4132 18 дней назад

      @owliiie I struggle with my misanthropic side. Yeah, I've actively tried to avoid sitting around just watching movies too much 😅 I care about what people think, but some people I find really interesting. Plus, in the way you speak, you sound like you've got a really great heart. Human decency, respect, consideration for others, empathy, and kindness. They're all things that are extremely important to me. You sound like a good soul, and that's one of the things I like about you as a RUclipsr. I've seen some movie analysis videos that I just couldn't get into. They didn't really hold my attention. On the other side of the coin, I've found some that REALLY captivated me. Some that were REALLY in depth, articulate, and just really fascinating. The ones I found that I want to let you know about, they really break down scripts and storytelling. They also talk about how objects, interactions, and people are added into a story to symbolize particular elements. The ones I'll recommend involve directors like David Fincher, Denis Villeneuve, Ridley Scott, and Scott Cooper. He directed Hostiles 2017 - it's got an AMAZING cast. It's got an AMAZING story as well. I should warn you, though. It involves the American-Indian wars, and it IS a dark movie, but it's also very emotionally difficult. It's got so many amazing elements to it, but I got choked up a couple of times. I'm not someone who does so in movies typically. That said, I think it won a few awards. Anyway, I'm volunteering til Saturday and looking after my dad. I'll get those RUclipsr names for you on Saturday or Sunday. I love watching film analyses. I've watched approx. 20 to 30 anayses from a lot of different people. You and 2 or 3 others are the only ones that've been so captivating. The only difference with the others and you is that I got the impression that these others had extensive university degrees in art studies. Not because of the language they used. They were easy to understand, terminology wise. It's how they broke down stories and scripts. It was sooooo fascinating. After listening to you, I believe you really have it in you to be a REALLY great writer. You're already a hidden gem of a RUclipsr. Something I'm kinda happy about. I'm sorry if that's ....not nice. Like that, you're hidden, kind of. I've always been quiet and busy. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to people like you. Only the chance to listen to them. Gosh, I'm sorry if that sounded so selfish and mean. With writing, in my opinion, at least, you can tell with some people if they've got something... unique and special. Similar to the way all really great writers do. You've definitely got it. At the same time, I'm kinda sad and pssd you're not better known on RUclips. You're great in the niche that you're in. That seems to be getting more and more rare with the intro of AI. While I'm not anti AI, I find some people use it in the wrong ways, sadly. Anyway, thanks for your videos. If your boyfriend ever decides to start a channel, let me know. In the Red Dead video, I got the impression that he was similar to you. In terms of your interest, being into more gritty, conflicted, darker types of things. That could be an interesting channel. Happy to hear about your book. I hope one day I can sit down on a rainy day with some coco or tea and get the chance to read it. 🙂

    • @owliiie

You seem like a cool person too. I noticed you mentioned volunteering, which is very nice. Me and my Mom enjoy buying blankets for charity. Stuff like that is cool, and kind of empowering when you realize you can change the world for the better, if only in small increments. It’s incredible what one, two, three people can do. My bf has a channel but it’s mostly un-narrated clips of video games right now. We tried starting a joint one but that kind of fizzled out. I like the flying car system in Cowboy Bebop, where the cars aren’t just going everywhere willy-nilly. They still have to stay in lanes, over a designated roadway, and they’re not that far off the ground. Maybe if we get some higher-altitude ones they could make a holographic roadway, like a grid over the city, to keep the cars from plowing into buildings. They could route the high-alt roads where if an engine failed or the electric charge ran out, the vehicle wouldn’t fall into any buildings or footpaths. And as for the cars-engage automated emergency parachute mechanism! There could be flying cop cars in position to monitor airborne traffic. But there, that brings up the problem of affordable holograms and holographic technology. Frankly, it’s all frivolous and unnecessary, but it’s fun to dream. :3 Also. I wanna be gilded in rose platinum, with beeg floofy Marilyn Monroe hair. That is all. Have a nice day.

    I once came to the same conclusion but for a whole different reason. In Undead Nightmare John is literally followed by a mesoamerican goddess named Ayauhtéotl that allows passage between the world of the living and dead if I remember right. She seemingly trusts John as she tells him about the mask that caused the apocalypse and helps him return it even though he could've just taken it for himself. And its not like John's dedication to stopping the apocalypse draws her attention because She's there the moment his journey begins. Also she gives him a horse so he can ride back home. The horse is Death. Its all non canon but John is still John. And it wouldn't be the first time he encountered a supernatural being cause strange man Also I discovered regardless of if the painting in the shack is complete and you see him in the mirror, John will still call the picture of the Strange Man in Herbert Moon's shop familiar. Meaning either he just is universally familiar because he's a force everyone faces or John is so surrounded by death the strange man has appeared to him before (I like to think he saw him as a kid, either during his attempted hanging or when he first killed someone)

He could sense something is ‘off’ about the man, and the encounter could subliminally stamp itself onto his memory, to be dredged up all these years later. Rockstar probably wouldn’t do that, because they like being cryptic about stuff. But it’d be a fun concept to play around with.

    GTA is Garbage compared to RDR. Im not sure, but I suspect that GTA6 is going to suffer from politics and hurt the company.

      Hopefully not. GTA has always been more ‘social satire’, and RD is more serious and literary. Hopefully GTA won’t get too ham-fisted or preachy or anything, but instead keep its subtly-unsubtle edge.

    I believe he's possibly st.pietar angels are usually described as tricky and some what annoying and also he guards gates of heaven so he would propably get "damned" by people since they would go to hell and when he says accountant i mean both deal with people and consult them atleast id like to say so

      I wouldn’t say angels are described as “annoying” but yeah he could be St. Peter, albeit with a more ominous flair that Rockstar added for mystery. Cool theory. :)
