How's criminality in Nassau at the moment? Is it safe to go there and walk around?
@@peterthon4010 Hi, I visited Nassau only for a day on a cruise last November. It seemed safe in the touristy areas (I walked around alone). I don't know if the situation is the same now though :)
skip naples its pretty dirty and gross with garbage everywhere...living in singapore this was quite a shock
@@aynrandfan7454 I agree it's dirty, but on the other hand the city has great vibes, a lot of culture, friendly locals and amazing food. It's really an authentic city but I understand your shock lol 😃
i will be there by cruise is there any beach that makes sense i want to spend like 2 hours in old town and 3 at beach couinting 1 hour beach time and 2 hours or less the way by bus
@@steveee2511 I would recommend Dassia, it's a 15-minute by car from the port. If you go by bus, it will take you around 30 mins maximum each way. Dassia is the best beach that is closest to the port. From the port, to the main bus station in Corfu Town it's about 800 m. At the main bus stop, you take bus number 7 to Dassia (check this info but as far as I remember it's 7). I suggest you download some offline maps or buy e-sim card so you can be connected and check the maps. Bus no 7 runs every 15 minutes but it can be crowded and traffic can get congested. If you decide to stay only in Corfu Town, you have a little beach right behind the Museum of Asian Arts (I think I mentioned it in the video), but it's concrete and you use ladders to get down into the water. At the foot of the Old Fortress I also saw people swimming in a small marina. So that's an option too. I hope this helps, have a great time in Corfu!
@@AdventourBegins thanks
It looks like on a cruise you probably will see downtown, the palace and the fort
Great informative video thank you what is better Cannes or Nice I’m visiting soon what is your personal preference?
Hmm, difficult question lol :) I personally prefer Nice, I don't know why but I love the vibe there. :) Cannes is more glamorous and prestigious, it's got more beautiful beaches in my opinion. Nice has more beautiful architecture, it's a bit cheaper and better shopping. :)
@@AdventourBegins hi and thank you for your reply Mmmm I think beautiful beaches in Cannes might’l win over beautiful architecture and shopping 🛍️ in Nice thank you and I love your videos they help me a lot with your tips!
Thank you! Great information and wonderful sites.
Thank you very much for the informations!!☺️
going to messina in september and this was so helpful, thank you!
I am glad, have fun!! :)
I don’t advise for anyone to visit Mykonos because he applies of corruption. You must look after your wallet. Keep away from this place for your own good.😮
We will be going from Selchuk to Kusadasi to catch the ferry to Samos in October. How early are the transport from selchuk to Kusadasi? Are ferries make daily trips during October? Appreciate your input thanks
Hi! Hmm, not really sure about this because I haven't done it myself and I don't know the area that well (I visited Kusadasi only 1 day on a cruise ship). But I had a look online and here I found the info that the first bus from Selcuk is around 6:40 AM: ephesiantourism.com/selcuk-to-kusadasi/ As for ferries, you can find a few websites online, I found this one and it says there are departures in October: ferrytosamos.com/ I suggest you do a little research online before you make any bookings, it's got plenty of resources. Enjoy your trip! :)
How much are the local buses from the port area to Ephesus??
Hi! They are very cheap, in 2023 they were around 1.5 EUR one way. You can find them on the main road in Kusadasi, they are locally known as "dolmus" and they look like minivans. I've mentioned them in the video as well. The ride to Ephesus takes about 30 mins. Enjoy your cruise! :)
Great information thank you
Your video sucks!
good❤❤❤
The Museum of Messina is always overlooked but it should be at least among the first 2 reasons to visit Messina. It contains TWO paintings of Caravaggio and excellent works of Antonello da Messina and Montorsoli original Neptune Sculptures plus many very interesting archaeological artifacts of every era. It really is a GEM to not miss, it is the Biggest Museum in Southern Italy! People have no idea what that means nor what’s inside.
Thank you so much for the suggestion, I will definitely visit it next time! I just checked and saw the museum is about 3.5 km away from the port of Messina, about a 10-minute drive. So art lovers definitely should not miss it! Thanks again for sharing this with us!
@@AdventourBegins You are welcome! Since Messina was destroyed and rebuilt on its own rubbles over and over, that literally makes the whole city of Messina a whole archaeological site but that cannot be done because people still need a place to live in right? So they have put most of these findings inside the Museum. At exception of this Roman ruins located on the left side of the Town Hall; there you will find this antiquarium with multiple archaeological findings and the entrance to the archaeological site. I was a resident in Messina and in my honest opinion the city and the guides always fails to evaluates what we have. You are very welcome 🙏
Another great video! Too bad i already visited Nice before watching this video. It would've been very helpful!
Great video, keep making more!
Thank you, will do :)
It is a very sad and disappointing thing to know that Mykonos, once the island selected by authors, painters, sculptors and people aiming to experience the natural beauty of this island that was a rather poor stronghold for pirates for centuries has now become a place where prostitution, drugs, alcoholism, rudeness and complete disrespect of almost any lawful behavior rules. Hotels, restaurants, beach bars and cafeterias charge exorbitant prices (usually without issuing any receipt), they employ young Greeks or illegal immigrants at monthly wages below (sometimes way below) the minimum wage, without any social security compensations and having them work 12-14 hour shifts 7 days per week treating them like slaves,, while beach bars and hotels occupy beaches charging ridiculously high prices for an umbrella and two chaise longues, forbidding people who are not willing to use them and pay for them from swimming in the beach (by Greek law all beaches are public and freely accessible to everybody). Much of the tourist economy of the island is in the hands of the Russian mafia and its oligarchs much of the supply of food, equipment and fuel a part of the building business is ruled by the Albanian mafia. Corruption runs high, as you can open any sort of shop almost anywhere if you have "the right connections" and you can build whatever you wish or can afford without feeling restricted by any building permits, Greek laws on the use of land or any public space demarcation. Local Mykonians, once happy and proud of their island, are questioning whether they are going to have the means to keep their properties on the island, are more and more threatened by the shady people that make Mykonos their summer residence and by the myriads of people landing on their island in the summer, as tourists seeing Mykonos as the paradise for heavy drugs, easy free and paid sex, wild partying and a chance to engage in any sort of extreme, unhinged nightlife "entertainment" of all sorts. Mykonos was recently characterized as the "Colombia of the Mediterranean Sea", if that adds a layer of description to the fast, sad and possibly irreversible disintegration of this very beautiful island. What a shameful waste!
Finally a good, compact and well filmed tourist information. Great job! Thanks a lot. 🙋♂️
Thank you so much, I'm glad it's helpful! ☺️
Love your videos. Going to stop in Catania on a cruise. 11 hours... shouls I plan a side trip? Taromina or Syracuse? Which would you suggest?
Thank you! 😇Yes, I would definitely plan a side trip, my suggestion is Taormina. Syracuse is also beautiful and historic, but Taormina is perched on a hilltop with stunning views. The ancient theater is spectacular with views of Etna in the background. So, my choice would be Taormina. Both places are well-connected to Catania by train, that's the most affordable option. You need about 3-4 hours in Taormina and you'll probably have some time in Catania since 11 hours is plenty enough. The port in Catania is around a 15-minute walk from the city center. Enjoy your cruise and let me know how it was! :)
It a very sad, disappointing and frequently maddening thing to realize that this island, which used to be a serene and God-blessed place of beautiful beaches and rare architecture, where painters, sculptors, writers, poets and renowned architects from all over the world chose to visit and admire, has currently been degenerated into an overcrowded, shady place full of ridiculously expensive hotels, over-booked restaurants, exorbitant prices, exorbitantly reach ambiguous personalities and is ridden with wide spread prostitution, drugs and considerable tax evasion incidents. The majority of young Greeks that work there as waiters, cooks, drivers, cleaners, hotel staff, etc. are paid at or below the basic salary (760 euro per month), they are (illegally) not registered as workers, they get no social security, no insurance and they work 12-hour 7-day shifts with no extra remuneration or day-off. Black market and corruption are thriving while, with a little (or-not-so-little) money under the table you can build whatever you wish, wherever you wish with no respect to the urban planning provisions. For the local Mykonians and everybody working there, Mykonos has irreversibly become the Colombia of the Aegean Sea. What a shameful pity.
great video. very useful! thanks)
Hi thanks for your videos I love them! I'll be in Athens next week for 1 day cruise stop, so I think I'll take the hop on hop off bus option to visit arround and including the Acropolis entrance so I buy it with the bus ticket and I can skip the line at Acropolis.
Sounds like a great plan, enjoy your cruise! 😇
@@AdventourBegins Hi and thanks! Just one thing to clarify that I realized yesterday: the Acropolis ticket can't be bought along with the hop on hop off bus anymore, we have to buy it online. Best regards!
@@Fefinho83 Either online, but there is also an option on-site. At the entrance to Acropolis, there is a code displayed that you can scan and it will take you directly to the page where you can buy the tickets. Once you have your tickets, you can skip the line and go inside. That's how I did it. Enjoy your time there, Acropolis is so impressive!
Best video on Marseille I’ve seen.
Thank you!😇
Great overview! Does anyone know if you can buy the day pass online? Or can I buy it on the first bus no 35?
Hi! Yes, you can buy it at the first stop inside the cruise terminal and at all ticket machines. Here's the official website, you may be able to buy it online as well, but I suggest you do it upon arrival. :) www.rtm.fr/
@@AdventourBegins thank you very much

Chania is fantastic. Stay at least a week
Yes, Crete is amazing and definitely worth exploring at least for a week (or two) :)
We are arriving via cruise ship and wondering if you could recommend place to buy bottle of wine near cruise port? thank you
Hi! Hmm, not sure about that. All I can recommend is a pizza place, "Il Siciliano" restaurant right across the cruise terminal in Messina, which has amazing pistachio pizza😇🍕 But not sure about wine, sorry!
Great information! I am enjoying your videos a lot and have just subscribed. Hope to see much more content forthcoming

Beautiful place, is it all walking distance ? If I need to visit Ephesus, can I make my own way there or I need to arrange for trips tour? Also what the best option to visit Izmir from Kusadasi please ..
Hi! Kusadasi Town is within walking distance from the port, while to go to Ephesus, you can either book a tour or take a local bus called "Dolmus". You will find the bus stop on the main road. Everything is explained in the video. 😇 I haven't been to Izmir, but I guess you can take a local bus too.

Very informative video! The bus that get you to Taormina Old Town can be pay inside the bus or tickets could be buy at the Taormina Centrale?
Hi! You pay inside the bus, it was around 1.10 EUR or so. :)
My cruise ship will arrive in Messina at 9am and will leave at 7pm. Is that enough time to see both Messina and Taormina? Thank you. Your videos are excellent.
Hi Judy, thank you! Yes, it's plenty of time to visit both. I would first head to Taormina, the train station in Messina is within walking distance from the port (maybe 10-15 minutes) and trains depart several times per hour. You can check the timetables at the official website www.trenitalia.com/. I suggest you buy them online, and you can do it when you arrive in Messina. I would save at least 3 hours for Taormina, and it's enough because the place is small and everything is within walking distance. You can return to Messina by 4:30/5pm and have around 1.5-2 hours for Messina. You don't need more than that, the city center and the main square are a 5-minute walk from the ship. That's what I would do :) Have a great cruise, I hope this info helps! 😇
