I think you handled the issue in the letter in the only way that you can. I feel like the woman should have taken that up with the shop she bought the patterns from. Was she not aware of the price when she purchased them? I can’t imagine anyone buying an item without knowing what the cost is. I feel that you have done all that you can for her. I always enjoy your videos and I appreciate the time and your expertise that you share with us. Happy designing and stitching.

About the letter about pricing ..be aware of people doing that . Most often they are counting on you to feel bad and send them free stuff. Youre right, its out of your control what an LNS charges. Her beef is with the shop. Keep sharp! ❤

Dear Sweet Judy, You are such a kind, caring person which was evident in your concern over a customer who was unhappy with the cost of her purchase. I understand how you feel but there are always things in life that are beyond our control and you should feel no guilt. The choice to purchase anything we own is just that, a choice. We've all spent money on things and then later felt we should have made a different choice. I think the way you handled this situation is honest and honorable. One of my favorite quotes is from Abraham Lincoln, "Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be" . We can't always change circumstances but we certainly can change our attitude in dealing with something that has made us unhappy. Hopefully this lady will come to know that and choose to adjust and move forward. Your grace, kindness and generosity is evident to all those who know you and for that we are grateful! Greetings from New Zealand on a bright sunny summers day. I am sorry you have been put in that predicament the lady should have realised that the pricing is out of your control. If she found it too expensive she should have not bought it. You handled it perfectly. I have seen something from a shop here in NZ that I would love (a pair of scissors), but the postage I thought was just too expensive so I didn’t buy it. Thank you for a lovely video

It’s a happy day for me when I see you have posted a new video. I love Christmas all year round so you can keep showing your Christmas designs as far as I’m concerned. As far as the person who didn’t like the price, if I can’t afford something I either wait for it to be on sale, save my money, or don’t buy it. That’s pretty much how life is. You tried to explain it to her so now I would just call it good. 😊

I can’t wait to see your upcoming market releases Judy! It is sweet of you to worry over the pricing complaint, but you’ve already explained that the store pricing is out of your control. If I feel a chart is more than I want to pay, I simply don’t purchase it, wait for the shop to have a sale, or look for a different source which may be cheaper. Loved seeing your Valentine picks, I have the heart alphabet, can’t remember the exact name of the chart, all kitted up ready to start! I even searched and found the striped linen the model is stitched on as it just makes the piece! I’m not a linen stitcher, but am determined. Happy 2025!

Stitching in the Round was one of my 4 New Year's Day starts and my first finish on Jan 5. I did it in 2 pinks but a bit more intense pinks. I love it! I'll post a pic on your Facebook friends page .

Happy New Year. I always enjoy seeing what you have designed and how others have stitched and finished those designs. The saw FB post of the lady who put stitched pieces in ornaments from Michaels, and I think they are so pretty and I hope I can find some of the ornaments to make as Christmas gifts. Thank you for your ornament collection books, they are full of wonderful designs.

I think you offered the best response you could to the person who was concerned about the price of your charts. I love seeing all of your designs and I'm definitely going to be picking up a few new patterns.

Judy, I would like to see more pdfs, eliminates postage costs and wait times for shipping. You would still charge your retail price. I have on occasion seen price stickers over printed price, and the sticker price is higher. That is completely out of your control.

Thanks for showing some ideas for blessing samplers. I made several of your small ornaments for my friends and grandkids this year. They fit in those little frames from Michael’s perfectly.
