Great video.. thoroughly enjoyed it! What a nice guy.. That’s an awesome offer! I live in Crystal River, and usually fish offshore for grouper, snapper and what not… but would love to try my hand at fishing insure for reds and snook! Unfortunately, I may not be limber enough to fish out of a kayak!
Hey bud, you fish bayport, hernando beach, hudson beach?
Cool video
'promo sm' 😬
Fish of the year!!! Awesome
Good man!!! We should all share info, I’ve made some good friends through fishing!! Being a good guy costs nothing!!
Just rewatched this video a year later and son of a gun if that isn't me in the kayak behind you. I have pictures of that heron landing on that and my newer kayak, and on a side note I caught a tarpon just to the left of where you were catching the black drum early this year.
Sorry I just found you channel two years after your last video
There will be new content soon
Cool catch I caught a bass once
Way too hype for the fish
Hey bro you still out there fishing? Just learning the water out there could use some help. Would love to meet up and go for a trip. I have all my own equipment.
That’s awesome!!
Nice
With a groovy tune to go with it 😂
What the hell was that
Funny 😂
Has me laughing 😂
Yessir
Did I eat/sell them?
Catch and release
Fish
Let me know when you want to take out someone new to fishing Florida. But I'm newspapers for fishing in other states. I've been here for 2 years now.
Iron man🤟
Damn straight
Cringe
Say you like men then
Water is nice and clear out there!
There’s a good mix of both clear and murky waters depending on where you adventure. And the fish like both!
Nice reds my brother!
Catch snook and reds all the time in Ozello with 30lb leader & 15 pound braid
I love it out there in Ozello. It's a kayakers paradise
So do i and it definitely is!!!!
Hey bud, looking at fishing ozello for the first time this coming Saturday. We plan to launch the kayaks at the John Brown ramp. Any pointers on which direction we should head? Also thinking about picking up some of those dart spins if you have any insight on colors we should get for this time of year. TIA!
Was just out there this Saturday and didn't catch a damn thing. Do you travel north or south of the launch point? And what kind of lures do you find to be the most successful? I was thinking if I had some cut mullet I would've caught at least one fish.
Cut mullet works well also, as far as north or south of the ramp. Both areas produce fish depending on weather patterns.
What kind of kayak are you in. Im just getting into kayaking . dont know which one to buy.
It’s a Feel Free Moken 12.5, I really enjoy it! Good luck on yours, apologize for the delayed response. Been out of state for a while.
Too many charter boats go back there for the size of the area.
Yes the traffic has definitely increased over the years.
First spot you fished a lot of boats fish there for the black drum, during the colder months there are a lot of big trout in there. The second spot behind you using the same net as you have I caught a snook that wouldn't fit into it plus reds into the high 30's. Sorry to see you no longer post vids, I've enjoyed all that I have watched so far.
The fish are definitely there. I just moved back to Florida so new videos coming soon.
Just saw u at Walmart
Hello there! Looks like a great area. I am planning a trip to Ozello in September. What's the fishing like then? Kindest regards. Joseph.
Love that place. Don’t get to get up there that much but when I do it always produces
I guess the rest of the grit eating population that uses 30lb+ leader on their rods and catch fish all the time, are the acceptation?
How big do they have to be before you can keep them and what were you using for bait?
15 to 19 can only keep one over 19. 5 per day per person!!!! And all these trout was off of shrimp!!!
Loved your video. Thanks for the tips. Definitely subscribing
Appreciate the support!
Nice rig and you did great a $2200 for it! I have a 10 year old 14' Jackson Cuda yak that I love. I am getting a little older now and want to put a trolling motor on my kayak. Not sure if I'll go transom mount though. I also have a cargo trailer converted to a camper that I put the kayak in and camp/fish around central Florida. So far it has been mostly saltwater, but I want to start doing some freshwater camping and fishing as well. I did a few videos from a while back but nothing recent. Hopefully that will change in the near future as I am planning a trip to Ozello as soon as the weather and tide Gods allow it. What is the model number for your trolling motor?
How strong are the tides at Ozello?
They can be very strong at times . Good tide charts are helpful in planning your trips in Ozello.
Great video, I love Ozello and plan on making a few videos there for my channel. Just bought a vibe shearwater 125 for fishing the skinny backwaters of Ozello and Crystal River.
Thanks appreciate your support, great areas for sure!
Great day of fishing!
Great Video, brother! Moving back to the area after ten years and inshore fishing is a big reason why. Definitely a “beginner” but looking forward to fishing shallows with a kayak. Really appreciate your videos, helps us newbs, tremendously. Look forward to seeing you out there!
Thanks for the support!
Hey Chris if you heading to Ozello again hit me up love to learn a few good places there. Always willing to have a buddy with me.
good eavning. this is Mr Bear im just learning ozello nice place i also fish Brasher park . got my kayak year and a half ago learning that to.in regards to soft plastics i have not cought one dam fish yet. like to fish in comming tides .i live in hudson ae you still fishing.
Regarding soft plastics in Brasher Park, go with a constant retrieving method, but slow roll as much as possible. Just enough to stay out of the grass. I prefer paddle tail versions. Also, in my experience there, outgoing tide is your best option. Just don’t get stuck, it gets really shallow.
hows the fishing there man? I mean its gonna be cooling down soon and I live in Tallahassee. I have a LT10 Gheenoe and want to go snookin.
Excellent in the cooler weather, find the murky water in the little coves an bays just outside of the tidal flow..
Cool thing! Checking it out Tuesday in my Nucanoe F12 with bow mount minn-kota
What size dart spin do you normally use?
3-4”
Heading to Ozello for a week of fishing in July. I really like your videos
What’s the water depth in that area?
It’s really all over the place, 6” to 10’ , watch out for the Oyster Bars! They are everywhere!
Just watched your video loved it thinking about going to Ozello this Saturday any tips would be appreciative because I have no idea what I’m doing lol. Thanks
