Your mounting needs turned 90 degrees. The bolt holes should align vertically. That why there are more than 2. For different thickness of trailer tongues.

Bought a Pound Prower 8 about a year ago at Bass Pro Shop and now thinking about registering it. Don't even know if I kept the receipt but I payed through Seezle.

Have you considered maybe balancing your trailer tires?

Excellent video! Followed your steps to the letter and my pedal is actually usable. Looking forward to using it on the water. The stock Springs are way too stiff. You'd have to be 300 plus pounds to compress the springs and have control.

When you’re knocking that pin out, you might wanna use a clamp on each side of that pedal to keep it down so the pin comes out straight

100% a toe problem. It would take a huge amount of camber to do this. If it’s tandem axle, lay a straight edge across the outside of both tires and you’ll see the issue. It only takes a little bit of toe to screw it. If single axle it’s tougher but you can measure it like toe on a car. I had a tandem travel trailer that would chew the heck out of 1 tire about every 500 miles. I was able to straighten that side of the axle using the heat and quench method. It never did it again. These axles are built poorly by the boat load and I see it all the time.

Someone who is used to using a Minn Kota Powerdrive, or any motor-steered head will have no problem. If you are used to a cable steer head, you're gonna have to forget everything you knew about foot steering trolling motors. These pedals are GREAT when upgraded with the 360 springs, and works perfect for my Hobie PA14 and Motorguide xi3 kayak issue. No issues at all, and forget that key fob if you fish like I do, standing up and working shallow water alot, pitching, flipping. I fish 100% standing, so this pedal was a no brainer.

Just hooked this model up to my nephews kayak, thanks for the educational video! Made me more comfortable with use of the equipment

Hey, saw the video. Want to change the springs in mine as well, where did you get the springs and are they anti rust ones? I live on the west side of Ft Worth, I’m sure the box stores are going to have ones that will rust.

This was awesome...changed the springs this weekend! I'm still having a problem that the motor will turn left when the boat is out of the water, but when I put the trolling motor in the water, it won't. That's only with the pedal.....works just fine with the fob. I can't figure it out!

Had some bad problems from my boat trailer doing that it was a bent axle, sent it in to get replaced and they sent me another bent one, finally got a straight axle and even wear on all tires sincw

Dang I went to the creek yesterday and the current was so strong it was sweeping people down and here comes this 3 -4 feet diamond back rattle snake struggling to swim upstream he was clinging on for dear snake life like he had his last breath and I took a stick and flung him out of the water 😂😂 he was very happy about that he sat on a rock in the sun for 20 mins afterwards 🐍 and when I say I had anxiety I could have shit myself
