I really liked it. Kind of a sad ending, but the experience was really good, and I definitely want to see more like it.

Combat was bleh. I have to admit that the dialogue and general story was extremely weak. Especially from Gundam writers. I don’t recommend. It reminds of that first Batman VR

Very good, Adam. A thorough gameplay review. I hope that they fix the issues with this game, and hopefully, these patches that are done will be applied to future Gundam VR video games. It has the potential to lead to some great work down the road.

I build the exact same way. Something that if not an actual unit is something that fits and makes sense to within the same context.

I have to say no only is it good for gundam fans, it’s good for anyone who like mech games. It like armor core but much more simple so it’s super friendly for new players to the genre.

This music is giving me ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK and THE TERMINATOR vibes. I love it. Very retro-cyberpunk. 👍🏿💯

I have a few questions Im able to figure out a lot but there are some things I just don’t understand. What are the redish-pink arrows that point up next to stats sometimes? On melee/punch weapons is the given attack stat per doubled since it’s both hands or is that the total amount? For example if it says 8000 is that each punch or would it be 4000 each hand? To anyone who has a chance to reply thanks in advance. Im having fun with the game but either the stats aren’t explained well or I missed something

Outstanding! Now, this type of gameplay is what I envision for the future of GUNDAM BREAKER games. Scan your Gunpla, put on your VR headset and ergonomic hand control devices, engage, Gunpla Battle time.

Wish it was better combat just feels like a boring turn based combat game, like it’s VR let us swing the beam saber around with our own combat patterns and flow😂 I’m not buying into a VR movie

Wasted potential. They should've went with the RX-78-2 feet which would've made it worth it to buy

I got through this last night. When we got to THAT flashback sequence, my jaw dropped. It was clearly where most of the budget went, and damn if they didn't succeed in immersing you in the moment. It's literally the most intense thing I've ever seen VR do. For that alone I gotta call this a success and can't wait to see future projects use this kind of technology and immersion in vr.

Sequels rightfully have to depend on the originals. It doesnt make them any less. They are chapter of the story. With that said, I saw Zeta before 0079, and my god, I loved it ever since.

5:41 the Hizack does use the heat hawk: basically the Hizacks loadout is either a Beam Saber & a Machine Gun, or a Heat Hawk and a Beam Gun. It never uses 2 beam weapons at once (not the standard Hizack anyways: I think the Hizack Customs might have?)

I dislike how they keep taking you out of "play" and place you in cutscenes most of the time. Some cutscenes could've been done while you were still in control. Perhaps I'm too spoiled by the VR games we already have.

I had this game as a kid too. I didn't know it was Gundam till my sister who was big into anime told me what it was. Then we started watching the shows together.

If the writing on Donbrothers was any indication, Inoue's writing on this one is going to be peak and unhinged.

The reason the Japanese love this scene so much, and why it solidified Gundam in people's minds, is because of the Char Kick and the fact that Char's Zaku was able to beatdown on the titular Gundam. Reason being that at the time, Japan was so use to invincible mecha piloted by the protagonist. So them seeing for the first time that the protagonist can actually lose... it left a mental image in their minds. People were at awe that a mass production machine, which is supposed to be weaker, is able to fight against a supposed invincible unit. It created tension.

And thus a legendary rivialry was born in the fires of war.

I have the original HG Hi Zac and it didnt come with the missle pods on the legs. This is a huge improvement on the HI Zac
