And to add on: I had my png, then redesigned for a more thought out look. Then I rebranded since I realised it's not the best to just have my name out there. So new name for my artistsona, new name for the streamer "me". And that live2D model I made, now has a separate channel from me, the artist. And I doubt I'll change her design. Because when I look back through VoDs, I get all giddy and stare at her/myself and laugh at my own jokes xD. I hope to get better at making models. But not to make myself an endless line of models. I'm learning so I can one day take commissions^^

Yeah I'm the same way, I want to make all my assets. But I was already taking art commissions, and using a png during my art streams. So I'll probably just do my own thing. There's sadly a lot of tourists. But lots of my friends are vtuber. Just small streamers. ^^ we're streamers that use png/L2D instead of face cam.^^ But I also understand, it also eats a lot of time. My webcomic is on an indefinite hiatus because I stink so much into stuff. You could try taking commissions for others, so you get to create but you don't have to use the result yourself^^ but at the end of the day, it's good that you look after yourself. I feel that, vtubers are not a bad thing. But, i get it, the community is very toxic and etc. And being label one comes with many bad things related to it. At the same time, if you like live 2d and want to continue learning and creating new cool stuff. Go for it, girl. It's not a label that will stop you for doing what you like.🎉

Yo this is a totally justified feeling! Something I realized while trying to figure out what the deal with my channel was ended up being incredibly simple: Only I can make the content that I make. That may sound like an oversimplification but the truth is, trying to make your content fit in a specific category (like v-tubing for example) would make you "just another ______" So don't worry about how your channel or OC changes. It's an evolution and you are using your creativity to make something unique to you! I think it can confidently be said that each iteration of your character has continually gotten better and your designs are improving with each one. No need to feel guilty about expressing your creativity! Keep going! Looking forward to the overwatch video 🤘

I dislike Vtubers so I absolutely understand where you're coming from. I guess I feel different about this avatar because you made it yourself; it has a charm that regular overdesigned vtubers don't have. Also it was really nice to see the design progress and different iterations of your avatar. You really are prolific. I can only aspire.

I love the simplicity of it and because I am a beginner I found some of the more in-depth tutorials quite difficult to follow but this one is perfect. I completely didn't understand how to set up physics because I was confused by all the different things to do on other tutorials and couldn't work out what to do first. I knew it wasn't just me! I started with big 10" tablets. (Huion H610 and Huion H610 Pro) back in like 2012 and I looooved it! I had a laptop back then so I felt very portable and I would get a lot of art done.. Then I finally upgraded to a Huion Kamvas Pro 13 display tablet back in like 2021, and while I was still getting a good amount of art done, I still found myself trying to find ways to draw portably.. I started to slow down my drawing.. I couldn't stand being at my desk all day and just wanted to lay down and draw like the good old days.... I was looking really hard for decent android laptops that had a visible cursor on the screen to draw, but found nothing.. I've tried drawing on phones/tablets that do no have that and I could never get my lines to... align with eachother. And just recently I found the Samsung Galaxy 9 FE+ and I LOVE IT! T_T My boyfriend is helping me pay it off.. The portability alone is WORTH IT! I can even work on giant canvases with little to no lag. QwQ I'm drawing a lot more now than I was for a while.. Great video! QwQ I love how your Hatsune turned out! ^w^ And I am happy to see I wasn't alone on this! QwQ I still use my display for streams and animation when I can, but I am mostly on my android tablet now.. xD

team fortress 2 has always had a large player base. It also still gets updates and events. I wouldnt say its neglected.

In my neck of the woods, we have a little game called Meet Your Maker. Released last year, and ended development about a month ago. Its a game with a small, but very, VERY tightly knit and passionate community that’s keeping this game thriving, I can’t help but think of the TF2s when I think of MyM because of how passionate the community is about the game. Amazing video on the subject of neglected games. At least MyM’s devs had the transparency to tell us there wouldn’t be anymore big updates-but they’re keeping the servers, bug support, and free battle pass live for everyone.

I can't talk much about Titanfall franchise.... But Valve could have been massive player in AAA market if they wanted to. If you think about it, Portal and Half-life franchises, despite on the first glance very similar, as they're roughly centered around mishaps caused by science organization, are different enough to appeal to different groups while also being similar enough to encourage both to try out the other one. That mixed with amazing storytelling, iconic Valve humour that is timeless and sharp as opposed to popular pop culture humor of last ten or fifteen years, would easily top the selling charts of any year. And then there is TF2 that lives despite Valve doing everything outside of actually out right killing the servers to kill it. When surrounded by games struggling to stay relevant or balanced, with people quitting more and more, if Valve were to make a small team of devs to work on TF2, even if that meant only two major updates every three years, slight weapon balances, maybe new map once in a while, but mainly and most importantly just getting rid of bots, that would make this game into a titan, possibly rivaling even Fortnite. And if we were to get last comic and maybe new media about anything really, that would be great
