So cute but when I first tried I was using a 4.5mm and the waist fit but as soon as I did the first layer of the skirts body it was too tight and i can figure out why I’m going to try again and see if I can fix it but help would be amazing thank youu

How do I sew an elastic band to the skirt? Do I make the elastic band slightly smaller than my waist? And do I attach the band all the way around the skirt?

Hi can anyone help me?. I did this tutorial right and measured the waitband correct, but after i did the body of the skirt the waist band became lossened up and non strechy idk if you guys understand what im saying, do you guys bave any advice?

Thank you for such a clear tutorial! I bought a nice pattern on ravelry but there is no video so it is hard to follow, so it is good to see such a clear video. I did make mistakes but this was super easy to follow. And I used sparkly iridescent grey with sparkly black and it looks so so stunning!
