Hi, This is my new adventure into recording videos and basing it on my new 2019 1025R John Deere Tractor. This is also a way to share my experiences with my family that live several hours from me.I will add new videos at a slow pace probably as I get more comfortable with it and learn how to edit videos. There is no set pace to when I will add tractor videos or create other playlist of things that I might find interesting. Hopefully you will Like, Subscribe, Be Patient and Learn with Me.

Hello, Welcome back to Aarons' 1025r Adventures! This is showing the assembly of an Everything Attachments Pine Needle Rake. Why I purchased this is because it is make in America and for all appearances they take good care of their employees and pay them a decent wage. This does not happen if you just buy the cheapest products on the market. Have a wonderful day.

Hello, Welcome back to Aarons' 1025R Adventures. This is just a video of me clearing the driveway again when we finally got a decent snowfall. It snowed around 8" and we have some drifts that go all the way to 12" deep. The video is very similar to the light snowfall ones that I have done recently,. The main difference is it shows my father the capabilities of the tractor in slightly deeper sno...

Unfortunately I am not able to be there with him, so this helps him know...

Hello, Welcome back to Aarons' 1025R Adventures, today I am sorting and storing bricks that I have around my property from the previous owner. The ideal is to get the sorted sow I know what I have for future projects. Otherwise I will know what I have to advertise to get rid of them so they do not take up space. I recorded this during the summer and just getting around to editing it. Hopefully ...

Hello Welcome back to Aarons' 1025R Adventures Today I am answering a question a viewer had about the clearance of the Heavy Hitch 2" front receiver in relation to the loader stand. #27 First Light Snow with Snow pusher

Hello, Welcome to Aarons 1025R Adventures Today I am learning to use my Frontier snow pusher on a very light snow that would melt later this afternoon anyway. But it will be a good learning experience on how to control the pusher and keep it level for a decent scraping experience. I went with the rubber edges because my driveway has several cracks that are raised slightly and I did not want to ...

#16C Installing the Bxpanded Backhoe Ripper Tooth
I was wondering what you were up to. Good to see you're ok.
Of course the day after posting this I got my official letter to stop using my tractor until the recall repairs are completed.
❤
does the loader and bucket fit if you have weights on that new front weight bar?
It would hit. unfortunately. I use the front weights when I have the loader off to try and improve manuverability in the woods.
What’s the brand? Link to product?
www.everythingattachments.com/Pine-Needle-Rake-Pine-Straw-Rake-p/ea-pnr-60.htm Note if you look on facebook there is alot of controversy about this company. Everything I have bought from them has been good quality and I would buy from them again probably after things settle down. Make your own informed decision.
I love this video finally a video that shows you mowing around obstacles with the finish mower! I inherited my dad's 1950 8n and was thinking about putting a finishing mower on it instead of a zero turn because I do have a little bit of some slopes and a lot of trees and berry bushes to go around this looks like this would probably fit the bill and just trim up with something smaller if I needed to thank you for the wonderful video
Thanks for the wonderful reply! Have a great day!
$30 for some decent knee pads. Take care of those things. Hurts my 38 yr old knees watching. Thanks for the sacrifice! Im hitting subscribe to see what else ya got!
Yea I should use the ones I have. Thanks for looking out for me. In my 50s and luckly all original parts and knees are doing good so far.
Does the change in the spacing of the bucket from the dipstick make any noticeable difference in the amount of bucket curl?
The bucket works normally, however the teeth just barely scrape the paint on the boom.
Nice setup. I have a very similar version and I absolutely love the versatility it. Actually I have one for gas and one for diesel but I usually only use them for filling my large gravity tanks. Mine run off 12v power.
Just ran across your video.
Aaron: Like you, I enjoy “Tractor Time with Tim” and have been viewing Tim and Christy for years. I recently discovered your site and really like your instructional and installations videos. Great presentation and format. Thank you.
Thanks for the encouragement. Someday I may get back into making more videos.
I just finished installing the same Bxpanded quick on connector, are you having trouble where the middle tooth of the bucket hits against the boom arm?
Yes there is a long spot where the paint is removed from the tooth hitting. I am thinking this is the nature of how a quick connector moves the bucket back. I considered grinding off some of the tooth. However I was afraid it might ruin any heat treatment on it.
@@AaronsRAdventures Actually I contacted BxPanded regarding this problem. The rep stated it is rare but when it happens to add some sort of metal spacer (~0.25" thick) right before the boom arm. I have tested the rep's hypothesis and it sure works and no longer hits the boom arm and does not effect the geometry of the backhoe.
@juanromano5765 where did you place the spacer to fix the issue?
@@theearl7867 On the 260B, there are these two holes were the hydraulic thumb is suppose to be mounted. If you follow that same arm up to where the boom arm meets, inside the short arm is a small gap. I screwed on the piece of metal against the small arm. so that when you curl the boom arm the metal would stand between the two arms. If you have trouble understanding this, let me know and I'll make a post in green tractor talk with pictures.
@juanromano5765 Great! Thanks for the clarification. I'll look at mine tomorrow and see if I can find what you are talking about. Just got my trenching bucket today, and the quick connector is on its way. The rubbing was the only concern I had and sounds like an easy fix. I'll let you know if I can't figure it out. Thanks for the reply!
Perfect video for a newbie like me. I also have the Pat's quick hitch. Did you use the extension because the PTO shaft is too short? My pto shaft looks like it will work without an extension. (I'm adding a slip clutch that will also help with length)
Yes I did, it was a simple fix for it and if I ever pick up some other old attachment it might come in handy for them as well.
This video is from 2 years ago. Fast forward to today, how do you like the Quick On Connector? Do you still recommend it?
I still like it, it is working just fine for the amount that I use my backhoe. If it ever does wear out I would like to try Mudds Customs version just to see the difference and for the fact it is made in the US.
Thanks so much, this video answers as to location of the valve. I have factory installed 3rd function, 2025R, that froze today. Just learned occasionally used valves can easily freeze. Solution is to manualyl move the valve. It may require disassembly. For the shown valve it may be moved with a small rod pushed in the small hole at each end of the valve. Going to give this a try. TTWT has a good video on this.
Hi Aaron, Thank you for posting this video. I've been wanting to put a winch mount onto my Kubota for a few years. Everything is very tight (very little room) for running wire and connecting to the battery. One of my hurdles is how to connect to the battery: 1. I looked at a number of connectors and I had problems finding one that would work. 2. I've been told that the stock battery can't handle the power drain from the winch. I see you have a safety relay. Did this come with the winch? Where did you get it? What does it look like under the cover? Does the stock battery run the winch pretty good? Thanks, Jim
Hello, My harbor freight winch twisted and I got a refund on it because they did not have that model in-stock. Doing some online research I chose motoalliance viper elite winch, 6k. It had a couple similar factors such a wire size and a similar control relay. It also had a wireless option but since I hardwired the old one I stayed with that. This price point of winches has a low duty cycle. Which off the top of my head would be 30 sec use then 14 min rest. Check the manuals to be sure. I have not had a battery issue but I only occasionally use the winch. Not like I would if off roading an atv. If I was using in more that 1 or 2 times a year to get unstuck or pull a log the I would suggest upgrading the battery to a deep cycle version made to withstand the electrical loads. I will do this once I need to eventually replace my battery.
@@AaronsRAdventures Thank you Aaron!
I enjoyed your video. 👍Glad to see I'm not the only one that struggles with getting the backhoe on and off! 🤣I have the 2025R with 260B backhoe. I ordered the bxpanded storage dolly as well. The first one I received looked like a scratch-n-dent special. The shipping company must have gotten rough with it. That or bxpanded needs to package it better. I have to say their customer service was great! They promptly shipped me another dolly. The paint was still wet on it! LOL I have it assembled, but have yet to put the backhoe on it. Looking forward to developing a routine that works more smoothly. Another benefit is that I can roll it around in the garage when necessary, and store it compactly.
I have had to replace the wheels once, however I am fairly rough on it. Otherwise it is a nice carrier!
Thank you so much ! Ordered!
Anyone have pictures or instructions on doing a Power Beyond on John Deere 3025D-3043D tractor?
It would've been easier if you left one bolt in to hold it
I just watched your video. Very nicely done.
Getting a little P O ed at bx I ordered this over 2 1/2 months ago they took my money but I have not heard from them.starting to wonder I contacted them and they told me they build them individually by order I will be contacting them again shortly
Good luck, it took awhile to get mine pre covid
Thanks nice video 👍😁
Nice install vid, just a pet peave of mine as a builder, I find it annoying how many confuse/interchange the terms level and plum.
Gotcha, valid pet peave!
Boi you really struggling hooking up those hydraulic hoses. Would help if you move the sticks around to relieve that pressure before trying to hook them hoses up. I own both JD and Kubota. The Kubota hooks up soooooooo much easier and faster vs the JD. And the Kubota couplers go on easy, and they don`t leak all over like JD.
Think I'm going to get one of those for the front and back of my pickup next year.
Good to hear from you Aaron. Hope the turkey turned out well.
It turned out pretty good. I also do about 30 chicken legs the same way since the oil is hot. Then my wife vaccuum seals and freezes them for later. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
Happy thanksgiving fellow JD 1025R owner..
Aaron, sorry this reply has taken so long. I actually only received my tractor about a month ago. I tried the Heavy Hitch toothbar on the 4 in 1 and while it works well going forwards, if you try to do any back dragging with it, it overpowers the cylinders and opens the clamshell. I decided to put it on the material bucket and leave it on that.
Interesting! I have not noticed that. Maybe it is the angle? Also I do a lot of my leveling with it opened up then close the bucket to pick up the excess I have scrapped back. Not sure if that makes sense.
I know I'm a year late .. just stumbled on the channel ... BUT love the old Zenith TV in the background
Thank you, that was my tv growing up and I just have not brought myself to getting rid of it yet.
Sorry to hear about your parents Aaron. I was wondering why we weren't hearing from you. Thanks for the update.
sorry to hear that about your mom and dad it is very tuff I have lost both of mine will be praying for you and your family
Aaron, sorry to hear about your loss. I can't imagine losing both parents so quickly like that. Prayers for you and your family.

Aaron so very sorry for loss. All our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sorry for your loss
I bought a new 2021 JD 2025 with same 260B . . . I admire the disconnect . ..good demo . . I panic on the idea of ever disconnecting 260B in general . .. I cringe to the fact that everything I try never works out . . . I just purchased a extra 2 year additional warranty . . . no matter how you look at it . .. i think the whole deal is to risky to get hurt . . . with me . . I like to turn key and go . . .
Add a BX guick attach for buckets, very handy
Yes I have one that I purchased later, ruclips.net/video/qiiVpgA7Jhk/видео.html. Works great!
Great video, thanks for posting this it is very informative. I have a 1025R FILB on order now and am ordering the front grapple for it also. Going in this morning to talk with the dealer about having the 3rd function factory installed. Will see what they say since my tractor is not due for a few more weeks. I would prefer it installed at the factory if possible still.
I like the idea that it is a true third function instead of a diverter from a different function. While I could install something myself, I feel by having them do it they can't complain if I had warranty work in the future
Nice job
Just FYI, heavy hitch told me their toothbar would not work on the frontier 4 in 1. I have one ordered and was going to put it on the material bucket but after seeing this video, I may try it on the 4 in 1 anyway.
I think the issue that you might find is the thickness of the edge. I think the 4 in 1 is thicker but I don't remember where I heard that at the moment. Let me know what you discover if you don't mind. Thanks!
Nice setup. This is a great idea. I've been lucky so far that anytime I've ever been stuck I could use my bucket to get myself out or I was able to hook truck onto it and pull it out.
Honestly it looks as if I could save money by running down to AGRI Supply and buying the required length of hoses and fitting and come out cheaper. My dealer quoted me at $700+ for the power beyond kit and wasn’t even sure if that was what I needed!😡🤨
What implement are you trying to run? Power beyond is only required for items that have their own joysticks on the implement.
@@AaronsRAdventures a Top link that is controlled by a AGRI Supply SCV. I found it for $190 on GTT and From my thinking this would work with the SCV I have
Sounds like the only thing you will have to do is make sure you have the correct hydraulic connectors
10 minutes draining the fluid and changing the filter (with the proper wrench)....4 hours fiddling with the rubber hose so you can remove the screen and another 4 hours getting it back on....come on John Deere...you really screwed the pooch on this design. I'd rather walk through a room full of sharp needles and blades in the dark than tackle this POS again. How often do you change the transmission fluid in your car/truck? That's right either never or maybe in 10 years. Maybe. Don't waste your time.
I'm sure this will help many others that run into this same issue. It's not readily noticeable, but can cause some issues as you stated in the video. It's small issues like this that are often neglected and can have a cumulative effect of turning your tractor into a pain in the backside! Paying attention to details is always a good thing. Thanks for sharing with everyone!
Thank you for the kind words
Have you heard of bi-focal? Good video, where do you get the paint marker or is there nothing special about it?
It's just a standard paint marker.
How long before it bent?
It hasn't bent yet. But it has not seen heavy use. I have used it on a few smaller stumps. I like that I can pop several roots without digging a larger hole.
Consider moving the lights to the inside of the tops. Even with the brush guards the guards and lights can take a beating. It’s worked well for me.
I do not believe I would fit between them when my backhoe was on. Otherwise that's a great idea
