I have the same steering issues with my Land Pride snow pusher. It seems to be part of the game with them where you have to bump the loader up until you get steering again. Im glad im not the only person running into this. Learning as we go eh!
I experience the same steering issue using my bucket to clear snow. That's where split brakes would be very handy. Just have to lift it up at times. I use my box blade for ballast in winter. I sometimes push snow backwards with it because I can steer when using it. I angle it forward to prevent pushing gravel onto my grass. Rgds.
I don't use float at all pushing or back dragging. Works well that way. In float raises the front tires enough to take the weight off them you can't steer
Is the snow pusher holding up well? I’ve seen other videos of people that are not very happy with the frontier pushers. Price wise they are decent, but “are you getting what you pay for”? Thanks
Yes it is holding up well. I have adjusted the rubber edge already. I think the HLA with the enclosed back drag would be nice. But otherwise I have no regrets.
So far I am liking it, the sides do a good job controlling the spillage . The back drag is a tad flimsy. It is starting to bow a little already. The HLA brand would probably be better for back dragging. I went with the Frontier so I could roll it into my financing. With the rubber edge on it, I do not get a completely clean drive if it has had the chance to pack down and freeze. However it has not given me an issue with my cracked asphalt either.

Yes, learning every day

Thanks for the information! Split brakes would have been great to have.

Yea I am finding I need to refine my skills to not use float as much. Thanks for commenting!

So, let me ask you. Your first time with the pusher, do you like it or not ?
