Great video, thanks! One question, the "density" of contour lines in the triangles are not consistent. Some are more "dense" and some are more "loosen". Is there a way to make it consistent?
Hi, thanks for your comment. In this video, contour lines are visualised based on "height(Z vector)". Since triangles have different inclination (angle) in this example, at some part it looks dense / loose in "top" view (each contour has same z difference). If you have triangles or surface which has same inclination, you would get consistent contours.

Whats your experience when it comes to details ? Just tried depth anything but results are worse than midas. Unfortunately running out of vram to check marigold... do you find it better than midas when ir comes to small details ? Olaning to convert bas relief inages to depth maps dor laser engraving.
details are for me also touch topic, sometimes lighting environment makes results worse. maybe you can try demo of Marigold LCM on Hugging Face platform. Demo on Huggingface Marigold-LCM huggingface.co/spaces/prs-eth/marigold-lcm I'm also exploring / struggling which kind of image suits which depth estimation models and cannot say yet which is the best.
