Yeah, you can play the free land on mobile, just keep in mind this is not the crypto integrated game. It's just like any other stand-alone city builder.

You can play it completely F2P like a normal idle builder, OR you can play the crypto version by purchasing a land NFT and playing on your own land plot. The crypto version lets you earn through integrations with the other Illuvium games (Overworld, Arena, and Beyond so far) that you can sell your fuel for, use skin blueprints in, etc. Both F2P and the crypto game let you participate in the play-to-airdrop campaign though for at least the rest of this year.

Thanks! Not yet, but the direct transfer option to your overworld balance is supposed to come with the next update, so looking forward to that! For now, you need to list the fuel and then buy it yourself (if you want) or just reinvest it into the land plot for now until this feature is available, which is what I'm mostly doing.

Just keep in mind that F2P will not be able to use the fuel or blueprints outside of zero, but I believe they have future ambitions to integrate those land plots more into the ecosystem in the future somehow, possibly by allowing them to work with the NFT zero players towards some goals or something along those lines. Very early to say for this though!

Season one just ended about 8 hours ago and the ILV rewards have not yet been distributed, but you can see your point total on the website. Zero players could earn some airdrop points from daily and weekly missions, but unfortunately milestone rewards were never added for zero so the number of airdrop points available were significantly less than from the other Illuvium games. It sounds like airdrop seasons 2-6 will no longer have airdrop points for milestones in the other games, so I guess this will level the playing field a bit for zero players, but we'll see. I'm very disappointed that milestones were never added for zero, since these were promised directly by Kieran.

You earn credits that can be used on the NFT plots, but otherwise no. You can't sell anything generated on the F2P plots. Game features in the future may tie F2P plots in with the T1-T5 plots to get them more involved though, we'll see!

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! There could be a lot of reasons for buildings lacking power. Power stations have a radius for other buildings they provide power to and their power is divided evenly among all of those....even if it means some buildings are way overpowered in the middle, while a building on the edge can be starved. Most likely solutions are to build more power stations, upgrade power stations, or move power stations to the far side of the building that needs more power, such that they're no longer providing any power to other buildings. F2P (free-to-play) land plots don't produce fuel that can be used as payment in the game or at all outside of that land plot, but you can play Overworld with F2P Tier 0 runs. Soon landowners will be able to transfer their fuel directly from Illuvium Zero to their Overworld balance, but at the moment they need to sell it and repurchase. Hope that helps!

Thanks! That is correct, you will stop earning the credits at level 201 for now. I do expect they will increase the max level at some point, but the reward structure could change for that too, so we will see. For now, the most credits you can earn for free on any one land plot is 276 going from level 1-200 (no reward at level 201).

15....it's a bit much! One T4 would be way better, but the T1-2 are pretty interesting to figure out at the same time, so that's fun.

Unfortunately no! The current "missions" span the entire account, so I only get credit once. I'm hopeful per some of Kieran's comments in response to my town hall questions, that "milestones" will be implemented soon and provide some advantage for owners of multiple land plots to hit the highest goals there, but we will see!

Great question! On this plot I have a T4 landmark boost for Hyperion collection. T3 land plots will have one landmark for one of the three elements and T4 plots have one for one of the three fuels. The free-to-play plots seem to all have a fuel landmark, which allows the efficiency to go above 150%.

I'm not sure we have much info on that right now....good reason for this IIP!! I know we can increase it's efficiency with Power Stations and the Databank, but it still shows 5% success rate, so what good is the efficiency?

@@RockonILV I have several laboratories trying to get a blueprint but with only 5% it is very difficult, both the laboratory and the databank are in tier 2 and the % does not increase. The databank description says it would increase.

There is a free-to-play version of zero where of course you're just enjoying the game and not earning ETH. The land NFTs allow you to sell the fuel you generate for other players (or yourself) to use in the paid tiers of overworld runs. Kieran has said they are targeting a 2-year payback on land from the average prices in the original auction, which would be really good (not crypto good, but in a reasonable way). We'll see if that happens though...I do believe the games and team are good enough to be successful, but I'm naturally optimistic too! Starting price on the land NFTs is not cheap....at least $400-500 last I saw. Good luck with your decision!

Unfortunately you can't sell fuel from a F2P land plot, but this does make sense because if they allowed it then fuel would quickly become worthless due to bots. You can still earn airdrop points though through the end of January 2025! It's also possible they will have features in the future for F2P plots that interact with the land NFTs and the team's goal is to not only have a web3 game for earning, but a fun F2P game in general. I think there's a lot more in store for the Zero gameplay to come!

The free-to-play land plots are a little strange. Yes, they are given a random "tier" but that tier is less impactful than normal because they all have the same number of element and fuel sites, plus an element landmark. From what I have seen, the FTP tier does impact how quickly resources are generated for the same level extractors though.

YES, they definitely will! Kieran has said he wants some more challenging Illuvium Zero milestones too though, that would likely require one or more paid land plots to achieve. Converters aren't nearly as good as they were in the alpha. In this testnet version the conversion rate was almost always negative, but they've now improved that a bit for the mainnet release and it makes sense to have a few more converters now (still not as many as the alpha though so far). Hope that helps!

You can only get over 150% for buildings that have a landmark bonus. Landmarks are on the F2P plot right now and also on T3 (element) and T4 (fuel) lands, but not T1 or T2. I did notice some minor bugs with the path system when near the cutoff points, which I think is what you're running into there to get that bonus %, but the team has confirmed now what I suspected for how this was calculated. Really hope some of this is cleaned up for launch including the crashing issue you mention and a few other things I know they've been working to improve!

@RockonILV thank you. I'm new to this, so i don't know all the things yet, i will check more details on their website. Maximum i could get its 168%. I guess i will have to wait for them to fix the paths bug so i can optimize all extractors, as currently i can not delete or add any roads. :))

I would hate to put a number out there for people. There are so many variables, but the biggest one is if you think this Illuvium team and IP they're creating can be a success....if so it should do well! Kieran has said a couple times now that his target for the economy has been for land to generate the average land auction prices back for holders over the first two years. Naturally he wants and expects the game to take off and of course this requires actively managing the land too!

I believe land prices are roughly comparable to the initial Dutch Auction average purchase prices that Kieran was talking about. So yes, this is Kieran's stated goal for land. Of course he wants and expects his games to do well (I do too, it's why I'm here), but all ROI is dependent on how much people are actually willing to spend on the game, so we'll need to wait and see!

@@juxtaposingBinaries itd probably take forever as theres a glaring issue, if for every 5 fuel you sell theyre making 95 out of nowhere, it only takes a bit of common sense to realize the issues that causes in a market environment, supply and demand, sure youre "getting 100% of what you sold" but what youre selling is being devauled simply due to volume, and thats a problem that will only increase over time, devaluing your fuel or w/e youre selling over time, making it take longer and longer to see any return, if you ever see a return, coz once the game hits market saturation and theres no new blood, no new investors, the value of the stuff your land produces effectively becomes 0 because no one is buying it, but hey, if youre into pyramid schemes thinly veiled as games then by all means invest your money and time

Basically buy if you enjoy the game/team don't buy for ROI

You don't need very many just to provide power to the buildings, but I have extra to increase their efficiency. Efficiency is especially important for all of your extractors and it takes quite a few power stations nearby to get them up to 150%, or higher if there's a landmark. I also built some extra in the corners for future use and as a cheap way to increase my path bonus temporarily!

Yeah, the best workaround for this right now seems to be to always force quit the app. Then the timers will pick up at the correct spot when you open the game again (they will continue to run without the app open). This is a big issue the team is aware of though and I really hope they're able to address it before mainnet open beta launch!!

Builders can be added for a one-time cost of credits. At the moment you can buy up to two extra for three total.

Hey, thanks for checking it out! 30+ levels is very doable on the first day, but it slows down from there. The official Illuvium Zero Beta Launch for testnet was on the 12th, but there was a version up on the Google Play Store for a few days about a week or two before that so I've been at it a little longer than some.

Glad to help! Also, I've confirmed this up to 11% efficiency now, definitely seems to add 1% for every 10 buildings connected still.

This is extremely highly speculative and depends on so many factors....success of the game primarily, but also the still unknown price for stage 1-3 overworld runs and how much you plan to play. People have approached attempting to calculate this in different ways, but my simple thought is that Kieran has recently stated he would like to see things balanced such that land holders could see a 2 year payback. This again, is very dependent on the success of the games!! So if you use average pricing from the original land auction for this you can calculate what that payback per day might be. For example, if T1 lands sold for around $500, then that's $250 per year and about $0.69 return per day. How many overworld runs do you think that gets you per month? Maybe enough, maybe not. I think this is where I'm supposed to say NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE, it's as risky as everything else in crypto. :D

First of all, thank you for the long, nice, friendly answer :). I didn't know Kieran's sentence, but it sounds good to me. I wasn't primarily concerned with the return, but rather with playing. I like illuvium and only ever play one game, so my main concern is that I have enough resources for myself. I have T2 T3 T4 lands and hope that this is enough for that. No financial advice, of course!

Thanks! This is an early draft of the podarium and plant features that the team shared in discord a while back. It could certainly change some from this by the time the roll out the new mechanics, but it gives you a nice idea of what they're thinking at least.
