Thanks! This is an early draft of the podarium and plant features that the team shared in discord a while back. It could certainly change some from this by the time the roll out the new mechanics, but it gives you a nice idea of what they're thinking at least.
The free-to-play land plots are a little strange. Yes, they are given a random "tier" but that tier is less impactful than normal because they all have the same number of element and fuel sites, plus an element landmark. From what I have seen, the FTP tier does impact how quickly resources are generated for the same level extractors though.
This is extremely highly speculative and depends on so many factors....success of the game primarily, but also the still unknown price for stage 1-3 overworld runs and how much you plan to play. People have approached attempting to calculate this in different ways, but my simple thought is that Kieran has recently stated he would like to see things balanced such that land holders could see a 2 year payback. This again, is very dependent on the success of the games!! So if you use average pricing from the original land auction for this you can calculate what that payback per day might be. For example, if T1 lands sold for around $500, then that's $250 per year and about $0.69 return per day. How many overworld runs do you think that gets you per month? Maybe enough, maybe not. I think this is where I'm supposed to say NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE, it's as risky as everything else in crypto. :D

I like illuvium and only ever play one game, so my main concern is that I have enough resources for myself. I have T2 T3 T4 lands and hope that this is enough for that. No financial advice, of course!
That's right. My understanding from the team's discord comments is that they decided not to replicate land plots on the testnet due to the tight timing of everything and effort required for that. They will remain on mainnet ready to go for launch on the 25th. Can't wait!
Hey, thanks for checking it out! 30+ levels is very doable on the first day, but it slows down from there. The official Illuvium Zero Beta Launch for testnet was on the 12th, but there was a version up on the Google Play Store for a few days about a week or two before that so I've been at it a little longer than some.

You can play it completely F2P like a normal idle builder, OR you can play the crypto version by purchasing a land NFT and playing on your own land plot. The crypto version lets you earn through integrations with the other Illuvium games (Overworld, Arena, and Beyond so far) that you can sell your fuel for, use skin blueprints in, etc. Both F2P and the crypto game let you participate in the play-to-airdrop campaign though for at least the rest of this year.
I surrounded my city with paths and game crashed :)) now every time i login i have to wait 30 seconds for buildings to appear and if i open the paths panel to try to delete them, game freezes and crashes. I emailed them, but still no fix in 1 week. 😂 What's the secret to maximizing productions over 150%? I have some at 160% and doing same thing to other extractors dont bypass 120%. Regarding % time reducation, i have 28 buildings and got 4% already.
You can only get over 150% for buildings that have a landmark bonus. Landmarks are on the F2P plot right now and also on T3 (element) and T4 (fuel) lands, but not T1 or T2. I did notice some minor bugs with the path system when near the cutoff points, which I think is what you're running into there to get that bonus %, but the team has confirmed now what I suspected for how this was calculated. Really hope some of this is cleaned up for launch including the crashing issue you mention and a few other things I know they've been working to improve!

People who like it also have the option to buy a land plot NFT to play on, which just allows them to sell fuel into the blockchain and craft blueprints that can be used in the other Illuvium games, but this is not at all required to play. Crypto games mostly suck, I certainly get where you're coming from!

Glad to help! Also, I've confirmed this up to 11% efficiency now, definitely seems to add 1% for every 10 buildings connected still.
