The "Marriage of Flesh" is a dark ritual two people can perform to fuse into a stronger being, invoking the power of the Old God Sylvian, god of ti!ts and tentacles, creator of mankind. Regular Marriage is just as regular as in our world, the Outlander did have a Wife and Child after all without fusing with the former. A Marriage of Flesh has nothing to do with Love, Consent or Age. While it isn't clear yet, it seems like a body must be non-growing. For example, you can't perform the Marriage of Flesh with a Child, but with an Undead made from a Child. Also Alll-Mer is not an old god. The Ritual will fail if you have insulted Sylvian by getting a prayer wrong, like kneeling at a shrine of Alll-Mer and praying to Sylvian or reversed.

Ot is not true that if you pray to multiple gods on one circke and then perform a mariadge it will fail. Marriage will fail always and only when your affinity with sylvian is negative which can happened if you prayed for her at a circle thta ypu already prayed for other god or at a wrong statue. So you can for example pray for grogoroth then for almer and perform a succesfull marriage
