Guardian of the Amazon
Brazilian scientist Carlos Nobre is a pioneer in researching the Amazon, one of Earth’s most important ecosystems. According to Carlos Nobre, tapping the Amazon’s current biodiversity-countless living organisms, plants, animals, and insects-using the latest technological advances can lead to a new industrial revolution. For his pioneering efforts in understanding and protecting the Amazon, he received the Volvo Environment Prize in 2016.

As a physician but lover of the Earth, I would like to know if Prof Kremen has published any books or articles on her approach. The most recent book I see on Amazon is from 13 years ago: Farming For Bees: Guidelines for Providing Native Bee Habitat on Farms. I would like to learn what comprehensive plan Prof Kremen has that farmers around the world can employ.

Very inspiring on all levels - as well as informative! I love the emphasis on the small examples of sustainability being pivotal in making bigger changes. Just another reminder of the "'power of the little idividual" as Buckminster Fuller ( an many others) said back in the 80's. Thank you Terry!
