Plastic Ocean - the story of how microplastics spread and what to do about it.

Microplastics have spread all over the world's oceans and are found in zooplankton, fish, seabirds, and also in humans. This film depicts the work of three UK scientists, Richard Thompson, Tamara Galloway, and Penelope Lindeque, that have conducted groundbreaking research on the impact of microplastics on humans and the environment. Their pioneering research earned them the Volvo Environment Prize 2022.
