Even though I don't like the term "lady superstar" there are only two women that can be called as superstar are Vijayashanthi and Anushka shetty. No one orher than these two can be callled as superstar. I am saying this after studying deeply about south Indian films, actors and most importantly audience & box-office.

the way a telugu movie independent movie "Pelli Choopulu" is been distributed tactically, eventually a 60L movie collected 25 CR + revenue, that's Rana and his father Suresh babu's strategy.,

Rana's strateggy is really a great Rescue for this kind of movies and situation, they are coming from decades of legacy Rana Naidu, his father and his grand father's Legacy

Independent Cinema is boring, common man already going through hell and going to a movie theater and cry, non sense, make a commercial movie and prove a point in that, that's all the commercial movies have done, winning good over bad., these people can't make commercial movies and cry here, not capable of making high budget movies and compromise for small movies and call them as independent movies. bull shit..

I don't know why people like her feel entitled to do a documentary on themselves. What is your contribution to the society other than entertainment? The major problem in our country is we celebrate entertainers and cricketers like our lives depend on it. Paying them extravagant amounts of money. Giving them the stardom. They obviously will feel entitled. This is the problem not just in India, but all over the world. Take Ronaldo. Eliminate football or his contributions, the world will remain the same. Just one less entertainment for the people. They definitely don't deserve what they get.

What great achievement have you done to to blant career? She is considered a super star, specially in a male dominant society. Sad to see there are still men like you who really can’t accept women growing and achieving success.

I liked the documentary because it's not often she is doing interviews about whatever she intended to share in the documentary. For others who wanted an elaborate discussion on her being outsider in the industry and everything that comes along with it, or her affairs and what and who played a part in her setbacks. That information is like opening a can of worms or washing dirty linen in public. Obviously, nayanthara is playing with the devil if she has to go towards exposing tamil film industry which played a huge part in her career.

Satyajit Ray found a way to make movies while working a full time job, with no formal cinema education, and at a time when India was dirt poor. Talent finds a way.

I am sure Nayanthara works hard and has a great work ethic as she claims. No arguments there. And it's true she's gone through personal struggles. But, is Nayanthara really a Superstar? What exactly does the term mean? To me, a superstar is someone who can draw in huge crowds into the cinemas. Someone capable of giving a movie that huge initial. It does not necessarily have to be an Actor. It could be a Director, Writer or even a Music Director. People might choose to go see a movie just because the superstar is associated with it. Is Nayanthara able to draw in such crowds, who come to watch a movie just because she is in it? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but most of her 'hit' films have had her acting alongside established male superstars like Rajni, Viay, Ajith, Suriya, Chiranjeevi, Sharukh Khan etc who were always the bigger crowd pullers in such films. I always felt she just rode their coat tails and achieved fame that way. I know she's starred in films where she was the protagonist and the biggest star. But has such movies ever achieved humongous box office success? Personally, I've never seen a movie just because she was in it. But I have seen movies featuring her and can say she's never been so bad, it stood out. I never had any intention of seeing this Documentary, despite the notoriety it has recently gained, owing to some off screen drama. Not because I have any thing against, Nayanthara, but I've never been interested in a celebrity's personal life. I've only ever been interested in their work.
