What to do when you want to CUSTOMIZE your SCOOTER!
15:39 HMM What was that
it needs heavyer trim springs
I had one of them in England about 20 plus years ago .they were nicked named Billy whizz over here , then I got a couple of Italian ones that are a lot better, I got a typhoon an a NRG 80 , they get boring fast, better off with a enduro bike
I'm getting 58 mph out of my roughhouse with this kit. About to change the contrast spring. Hopefully that will give me a little bit more. But I really need gears.
And I hope you’ve put it through its first heatcycle after the new cilinder, before you started ripping it 😅
We have a bit of mercy towards new parts. 😂
Great vid. I had 6 or 7 of these bikes in the past. If you want to run a 70cc at full speed for a long period off time, you will need to change the crankshaft to a performance one
Yes, we will be upgrading the crank in the near future, when we ceramic the engine casings.
👍👍👍👍
This build is my favourite. I think you should definitely get a clutch soon. It seems to have no power because of no power band. What more upgrades are you doing?
Definitely the clutch, and we plan to fit reed valve and bigger carb, and an upgraded crank when we do the engine casings.
how tall are you
Not as tall as the scooter! 😂
Saturdays scooter run was so rad and this little thing surprised me to be honest. I think when she's done you're gonna have a little monster on your hands👹😂
There is more yellow in the background today.. epic stuff man!! What parts are your planning to ceracote?
At the moment we would like to do the engine casings white. We may do other items too, like piston and head etc.
Hello once again from Chile !
Great video! But I am pretty concerned because it looks like you still have the original crankshaft, it will not hold for long with that cylinder😅
It should be fine. This is a street tune kit so far and not a full race setup.
This kit will last a long time if tuned properly. Great video
@@overlandworld2253 this cylinder is mid race. basically anything more than 8hp ytou need to change the crank. this kit does about 12 - 15 hp. \
Thanks for the concern. We will be replacing the crank in the near future, when we Ceramic the engine casings.
Hi and thank you for the mention in the video 😁.. Loving the work so far and it looks like a bit of fine tuning will transform the scoot even more! Obviously a carb upgrade will help massively and potentially get rid of the acceleration flat spot although I would play with the rollers in the meantime. Pod filters are sexy looking, but can be a pain to setup the carb. The flat spot is more likely to be to much air being sucked in on initial acceleration (pilot jet in carb) then the the main jet kicks in and the scoot gets more fuel and takes off. Looking forward to next video and keep up the good content 👌
Once we have change the clutch for the higher rpm engagement, we'll do the reed valve and carb. We are also not big fans on pod filters because they are a pain to set, as you mentioned. We most likely will just go stock airbox and Stage6 replacement foam. Thanks for the support and comments. 💪
@urban_riders all sounds great and you are spot on with the mods you mention for the future 👍. Just one last thing about the carb, most people go straight to a 21mm when a 17.5 or 19mm will do a better job on a street tune setup. Obviously it's your build, so please don't take my comment as "I know best". You guys are doing a great job and making good videos. Your experience and enthusiasm shines through 😎👍
@@overlandworld2253 Our plan was to keep this scooter more for street use and not go too crazy on it, this we will do on the Aerox. So we were thinking 19mm carb. 👍 Bigger isn't always better on carbs, correct.
I have a 2010 Yamaha Zuma 49cc. San Diego California.
Can you share the measurements? Can’t find it anywhere in Mexico
What measurements do you require? I will let you know.
Bonjour. Les videos sont géniale! Mais du coup il est possible de rouler avec la pompe a huile d'origine Yamaha avec toutes ces modifications? Sinon, quelles modification serait à faire? Je me monte exactement le même moteur que vous en France Merci
You can run the Autolube system with all the mods. But to get the best performance and fuel ratio, pre-mix would be a better option. More importantly, you need to run a good synthetic 2T oil like Malossi 7.1, Yamalube, Motul 7100 etc.
❤❤❤
🔥
This is so cool. When will you post full video?
We will be doing a full Malossi upgrade in the near future. Keep a look out for it. 👍
Im so glad you guys finally having a Zuma on the channel. I can’t wait to see more 🔥
❤ عايز واحد
sweet
I think it is the 150i
This specific model in the video is definitely a 125cc motor. Kymco do have a Like 150cc, but not in South Africa.
Leo Vinci!
❤
Where can you get those little clips/ shims if needing replacing?
Agents only it seems.
Good selection of parts! The harder spring is usually not necessary with original 50cc engine. If you wanna upgrade to 70cc, the Stage6 Streetrace 70cc would work really well with the parts you just fitted and it's our most popular street cylinder kit. Plenty of torque and power and very durable.
@@scooterattack The parts are amazing! I have already ordered the 70cc kit so I’m very excited to see how the complete setup works 🔥 Thanks for all your support 🙌🏼
😊 Winston ❤❤❤
This is so dope
👍👍👍👍👍
support from cape town 👌
One of the most important things you should do is adjust the ignition timer, brother.
That’s true. Might have to get the MVT ignition 👌🏼
Make it all stage 6👌 and maybe a bigger carb aswell....
Stage 6🔥🤘
Stage6 ❤
sooo wheelie video when???
When we install more mods 👀
whats that yellow thing under the tarp??? 😉
Hmmm, i don't see anything... 🤫
Hello from Chile mate ! I agree with Joru the dog should be in all the videos from now on
I think we should!
@@urban_riders Winny-pooh FTW!
I'm also a fan - superb work my brother!!
Stick with the standard contra spring with the 50cc...only upgrade to medium spring when you have the 70cc kit. That's what your problem is at the moment in my opinion. I had the same thing.
Thank you! I guess we will have to fit that 70cc sooner rather than later. I just wonder if the carb will keep up now?
Unfortunately not. 21mm will be needed. .or a 19mm if you have one laying around. The 50cc just doesn't have the power to handle the contra spring. Try swapping it out for the standard one in the meantime 👍@urban_riders
@@overlandworld2253 I think it has a 12mm in there now and its absolutely way too small. I already have a 21mm on the way to give us proper power!
@@urban_riderslooking forward to seeing the 70cc build with the 21mm 😁..should be a rocket 🚀
W vid, the dog made it.
Very nice!! Question can i put a malossi intake for tge carburettor while not changing the carb as it's the standard one? And where can I get those gloves?
Thanks Milan. The Malossi intake manifold can be used with the stock carb. 👍 Gloves ... contact us via our website and we can arrange.
@@urban_riders does the intake manifold make a big difference in performance?
@@milan4675 Not really. It just helps to move the carb in the direction you want it to face.
60 kmh is only 37mph 😂😂😂😂
Painful right!! 😂 But we will continue with mods for that speed! 💪
🧐, ma hai tenuto la testa originale ? Squish 1mm ? Albero motore originale?
Bello il Dragster 👏
🧐 🖐, ma come hai fatto a montare questo kit se la testa originale e di 52mm compreso cilindro ( / ) e malossi e un 124cc 57.5 mm ? Va su con la testa originale ?
Great question! Malossi have taken this into account. The cylinder height is so that the flat edge of the head becomes part of the squish area, with a 1.1mm minimum squish.
@@adrianvandermerwe ok thanks for the very kind information, but did you keep the original head?
@@SoloAmatori2t-0 Yes we kept the original head. 99% of the builds are using the original head. The 1% are using a modified standard head where they have been welded up and machined to a custom profile and volume.
@@adrianvandermerwe ok I imagined, it seems strange to me, only I have never mounted a Malossi because I also own a rare 100cc Aerox 2t model for this, I ask if the original 52 also adapted to the 56 Malossi piston hehe, I see that Airsal produces kits complete GT, for me it seems more suitable given my experience you know I don't know how long the Malossi holds up, it's a shame they didn't also make the head and it was a shame on Malossi's part, not to make a complete GT, thank you very kindly have a good Sunday
