    Sir, I was born in the late 60’s. I was extremely blonde when i was a child (and still am) to the point of almost having white hair. I have extremely fair skin. I never wore a had, and when I reached my 20’s started having male baldness. This coupled with not wearing hats has caused me to get many sunburns on the top of my head. I now am paying a very very heavy price. I have solar keratosis which is a precancerous condition all over the top of my head. I undergoe regular very painful dermatological treatments that remove a thin layer of skin so a keratosis-free layer emerges. This is like setting the top of your head on fire. This new skin will develop keratosis after about a year. So I must repeat the treatment. Until one day, perhaps, a cancerous cell will escape and reach my system, killing me. WEAR YOUR HATS PLEASE. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN SO THEY DON’T END UP LIKE ME !!

    Smashing video mate! Ha ha, sorry I'm an American trying to sound like an Englishman. Yes I remember when people wore hats. My grandpa had a fedora type of hat and he would not leave the house without it. I've never really cared for a hat because it feels too restrictive on my head and I always wind up getting a headache. Thumbs up indeed!

    The Board of the Very Big Corporation of America questioned this at their Annual General Meeting in 1982; they found that not many people were wearing hats. One Board Trustee found; “Matter is energy. In the universe, there are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's soul, however, this soul does not exist ab initio, as orthodox Christianity teaches." He continued; “It has to be brought into existence by a process of guided self observation, however, this is rarely achieved, owing to man's unique ability to be distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia. ”

    • @Prospero812
      @Prospero812 20 часов назад

      Yes, even young adults in their early 20s are wearing hoodies and I always think to myself on a fine nice day they should not be wearing hoodies and so I think they’re up to no good perhaps stealing, especially when they walk with their heads down in trying to conceal their face

    • @TheUnemployedMigrant
      @TheUnemployedMigrant 20 часов назад

      @@Prospero812 I mostly see this with teenagers wearing those puffa-jacket coats in colleges. I don't think they're actually up to no good, but that they want people to think they are. They look like total mongs. Wearing a hoodie is one thing, I do it all the time, but keeping your hood up at all times is just weird. Maybe they're just ugly or something.

    That’s actually a really interesting point, and I think it’s a shame because some of these hats look really good on people. I think another reason could be because of over-ear headphones, and how it can sometimes feel too bulky to have both. Also the “no hats indoors” policies in school could have something to do with it. I remember being so excited to wear my patrol cap but since it wasn’t allowed inside, it became more of a hassle to take it out of my bag to put it on, only to take it off again in an hour. And after a week of bringing it just to not end up wearing it, I just left it at home.

    1:44 “What’s the point in making a historical film or series without at least SOME historical accuracy?” ….are you implying that The Titanic didn’t have ANY historical accuracy because they weren’t wearing hats in that scene? It’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie but I’m also 99% sure both characters wear hats outside that shot at various points.

    Make Hats Great Again!😂 I love a nice hat, especially when the outfit demands one. Slow resurgence of headgear in some niches of fashion. Finding them is, however, problematic. They sell out quickly, especially online. Loved this informative video. Your voice is lovely, demands attention, and is not harsh at all while doing so. Quite refreshing, Sir, thank you.

    Havent watched video yet, but surely the answer is: indoor plumbing. People stopped wearing hats when they began to bathe daily instead of every week or two. It was an enormous hassle to heat water over an actual fire, and climb into a half a cask (barrel etc) in your kitchen to wash. Related, while shampoo was invented thousands of years ago, until the middle of the 20th century many working-class and middle-class people OILED or greased their hair to keep it "tidy" ie stuck down, rather than cleaning it frequently. Soap, shampoo, bathing and especially showers in the home are relatively recent. One of the many "all mod cons."

    Baldness, of my old friends. I am a retired police officer in the northeast of NYS. In the 1960s, we would be charged by supervisors if caught bare headed even in a patrol vehicle or our departmental ambulances. But as US vehicles began to have lower ceilings, the stud holding our hat devices caused injuries to our foreheads. Eventually, the Police Commissioner’s office allowed us to drive bare-headed. Today, police caps are worn mostly in parades and funerals in my former department.

    I haven't had a fridge for 2 years now. And I'll never ever buy one again. Mainly due to electric goods are pure garbage designed to fail long before they should. But life without a fridge is easy. The only thing that is a issue is milk, and thats easily solved, just buy milk powder. And once you've used to buying meat when you plan to eat it, then that problem goes away too. I see no valid reasons now for spending hard earned money on pooe quality appliances or paying high electricity costs just to keep food fresh. When we have milliond of shops open 24/7, that we all pass on any journeys we do daily.

    I wear a hat when it's sunny. And sun glasses, and sunscreen. People today seem proud and happy to burn in the sun, as if it were a statement of success. I've met many people who roast in the sun during summer holidays and then parade in the office as if people noticing they were on holidays would somehow be proof of how "cool" they look. It's utter nonsense, of course. I think they look ridiculous and exposing yourself to the sun like that is dangerous and not good for your skin.
