    So I'm not sure what's different about my 2007 Chevy new body style. The transmission pan came off rather easily after I removed the shift bracket. There were only two torx screws on top of the bracket, so it was pretty easy. I did not have a clearance issue relating to the exhaust while removing the pan.

    Great job ! We won't tell the Maytag man . 🤣 Just a few ideas . I used grey pool table felt and glued it to recycled formica to make my door panels . Which is a lot more sturdier than the old cardboard ones I learned how to restore the wood grain look from another youtube channel . I redone my dash and the door caps . I recovered my seats with grey Israeli wool military surplus blankets . I think I'll have someone else do the headliner. Looking forward to watching more on your rebuild .

      Forget about Marvel mystery oil. You need to take some good Dexron ATF and mix it 50/50 with acetone. It is the worlds best penetrating oil. Works a treat for freeing up rusted locked up engines even.

    My 2004 Tahoe just messed up the other day. My tahoe issue was the the brake safety coil mechanism. It was under the dash to the right of the shift cable connection. This guy's video pointed it out. I just disconnect the POS mechanism! It seems to me that it was made to fail. I put some electrical tape over the plastic plug so it will not have a short circuit...

  • @pauljanssen7594
    @pauljanssen7594 2 месяца назад

    Now this is what they call the master cylinder below the floor lower than the wheel cylinders this is why you used to have to pump the brakes to get the fluid up to the wheel cylinder. Probably the most main problem with old Master cylinders that used to leak.

  • @andreamills5852
    @andreamills5852 2 месяца назад

    Looking forward to your next video . Those one wheel cylinder per break shoe are an odd thing but easy to work on . at least companies still sell about every part for these old cars .
