    What about playing a electric guitar is that a no no

    • @CyborgVlog
      @CyborgVlog 22 дня назад

      I don’t think it’ll be a problem, magnetic fields from electronics loose intensity quickly with distance and as long as any magnets or motors are not directly on top of your device it should be fine. I think all the electronics of a guitar are not up in the neck that would be closest to a pacemaker in the chest.

    Hello: my name is Alicia. I live in Arizona. I have been listening to your comments for a year almost. May 12, 2023 ,I had my pacemaker implant. After the surgery, I had so many unanswered questions. I am lucky to have found you, because I have learned so much from you. My life changed dramatically, from an energetic 78 year old, full of life and vitality to an anxious slow moving being. I suffer two months of dizziness and unbalance, i was afraid i was to suffer a stroke at any moment. Once I was called in for a devise check up, it was discovered that there was something unusual going on with one of the leads. It was tuned and since I have no issues. Now it’s a matter of regular check ups. Thanks to you, I have learned to keep my mind still and take it a day at a time. You are my inspiration and I pray the Lord to keep you safe and healthy. Thanks.

      Hi, I don't have a cell signal booster, but from experience I can tell you inside Yellowstone, even with good cell signal near the lodges and hotels, the demand is high, and downloads are slow. I do like Starlink as long as you can have a clear view of the sky not obstructed by trees, which is a challenge camping in Yellowstone. But you can set up at many of the pull offs and parking lots to get a clear view. It worked great in Arches national park and White Sands. Hope you have fun traveling the National Parks!

    My cardiologist & electrophysiologist recommend CRT-p for a third degree block or left bundle branch block. I was put on two different beta blockers for 10 months but remained at reduced EF 40-45%. Finally wore a Zio monitor which saw three episodes of pauses. Like you, however, I didn't ever feel nauseous or faint. My blood pressures have always been on higher end. Am now reading lots on how beta blockers can cause the heartbeat pauses. Electrologist said he wouldn't even consider pacemaker in my case, if I didn't have the pauses. I'm going to ask for another Zio monitor to see if after being off the beta blockers for over 4 months, will the pauses have gone away. I know people live many years after implant but it is still a huge adjustment!

I thanked my wife for forcing me to go to the the doctors in the first place.With all that said I feel much comfort watching your video and knowing there is life after a pacemaker.I cannot wait until I go back to the gym,and yes less worry about money and enjoy life to fullest.I wish you the best in your health,and the fun times ahead with your family,and again thanks for the video. Good to see you again. I'm now into my late 5th year and they say that I have over a year left before the battery needs replacing. My pacemaker "phones home" via a special cell phone with no buttons on it that sits on my night stand. It collects daily data from my pacemaker and relays it to my heart doc's office. Three weeks ago it reported a problem and they called me to have me come to their office. They decided that the wire leading to the upper chamber of my heart was "no longer functioning correctly and must have come loose." They changed the program in my pacemaker so it would run on just 2 leads, but when I left the office I knew that something wasn't right, so turned around at the elevator and went back. They made some more changes, then sent me on my way. It was Friday and almost 5 PM, so they were likely eager to go home. Over the weekend and into the next week I was getting more and more tired, resulting in an ambulance trip on Friday morning because I almost didn't have enough energy to make it to the breakfast table. I had the beginning pains of a heart attack in the ambulance, but it went away before we reached the hospital. I spent that day and two more days in the hospital gradually improving, while they ran tests on me. A field service rep from the pacemaker company came in and ran tests on me too, and could find nothing wrong, so he put me back on the 3 lead program again and I'm feeling better. Now I'm feeling about how I was before they called me to come in. This was 3 weeks ago, and I seem to be doing about the same as before all of this happened. I'm now waiting for an appointment with the Doc that put my pacemaker in to decide what happened to me, and where we go from here. The pacemaker rep also said that my battery should last me at least a year and a half more and probably longer. I've been staying close to home since then. In fact, I'm spending most of my days upstairs in my photo/video studio. It's one of my financially "out-of-control" hobbies. The other, also a bit "out-of-control" is my woodworking shop. I design and build Exhibits for the State Science Museums as a volunteer, whenever they need me. For these, I do everything except for the graphic arts, since most of the museums have a full department of people to do that. Take care. We both need to best of luck to keep going. Charley

      Hi Charley, good to hear from you again. It sounds like you’re having a rough time the last few weeks. I hope you can get some answers from your doctor when you see him. Sounds like a worrying situation, I too have the phone home device, and often wondered if anyone ever got called to go into the doctor because of data it sent in. I hope you can continue with your hobbies, best wishes!

    Thanks for the update! I already had my pacemaker replaced a couple years ago because they gave me one with a second lead and a defibrillator. It wasn't bad at all. They made me stay overnight as a precaution. Like you, my next pacemaker replacement will probably use the current leads. I am at 80% after two years. Good luck with your health!

      Hi, thanks for letting me know. When I was told I needed a pacemaker I was freaked out and looking to hear how other people were doing living with one, that’s what motivated me to make videos. I hope your surgery goes smoothly and you have a quick recovery. Best wishes!

    I appreciate your positive revelations on having a pacemaker. I am 76 and was told I need a pacemaker soon and felt it would be the end of life as I have known, but you inspired me to plan a more meaningful life with family and friends while I can. Thank you.

    From the looks of your picnic table, it makes one wonder if you used this technique on it. The table definitely has a more uniform finish.

      That’s the finish that came on it when I bought it, lol. Thanks for watching!

    What brand/type of PM did you get?

      I don’t share the specific manufacturer, but it is a dual chamber model from a major manufacturer. Thanks for watching.

      Yes I am doing better. I've had pacemaker adjusted a few times. Bit I've been better since the last " tune up" I'm back to work now. I did have some anxiety but am getting use to it kicking in. Thanks again for your updates. Take care. May God be with you in your journey.

    Got sleep apnea in 2001. Have been well functioning on a CPAP since then, and in 2021 I had AV-Block, so doctors gave me a standard PM for pacing my heart rate, if the rate went below 30. Sadly enough, that PM (2-lead) was only attached to the right heart chambers. Eventually it leads to dysfuncion in the syncronisation of the Left and Right part of the heart, leading to severe fatigue, breathlessness, central sleep apnea and lifethreathening worsening of my Ejection Fraction from 60% down to 23%. I have now been offered a Biventricular Pacemaker (CRT-P 3 leads), which stimulates both sides and synchronize them, and should bring the heart pump back to normal again. It was running like a motor missing two spark plugs. Hope it will work.

      I hope your recovery is going well. If you come up with questions, just write them down to ask your doctor the next time you’re in the office I also looked on the device manufactures website for information. You have my best wishes and I hope you feel better.
