That was a good plot and a pretty good movie better than I had expected.

Always loved herbert lom and richard todd,, its the voices, makes the americans sound so coarse.

Commie Tommy did a great job, muzzys overrunning the streets, the gov and the women. The gov taking pensioner's fuel allowance, no prayer allowed in the street, any FB post can get you jail time. While muzzys run around with knifes and clubs, as their handlers the po-LICE jail everyone but violent criminals. May Christ Jesus help the once great nation turn again to Him!

Nice little thriller. I liked the use of real British and American troops (who would have been stationed in Italy at the time probably without much to do all day). It's a pity it wasn't actually filmed in Tehran though. Interesting that Roosevelt's wheelchair was shown - I thought that was usually kept quiet at the time.

Low budget, low quality movie filmed in a wharehouse - with an American (unconvincingly) playing the part of a British crime reporter!

A lot of smoking in those days possibly medical tobacco.

I suspect that Republic may have had some money in this production in return for US distribution and other rights. Note the Associate Producer is Gerry Fernback who was Republic's UK representative at the time

Shame about all the smoking,quite a lot of boozing as well.Sid James with a questionable Italian accent? What would Tony Hancock say or Kenneth Williams.?

This film is listed as American, but it has a German director and a German and a British writers. The actors are British except for the awful American serviceman. Maybe the writers were having a joke about him thinking that American slang is real English.
