Enjoyable and very much a reminder of how the London Docks were a major part of our capital city even as late as 1960. "Pit of Darkness" from around 1961 also portrays Wapping and the dockland streets as a setting for "villainy"!
Bill Le Sage, who composed the music played the vibes and I can pick out Ronnie Ross on baritone sax in this soundtrack., and it is probably Les Condon playing trumpet Bill and Tony Crombie provided most of the music to Danziger films. Jeff Kruger owned the Ember record label , who both recorded for (defunct 1979) and he had some arrangement to provide the music for these films. By the way Vincent Ball, who stars in this film will be 101 on December 4th 2024
Enjoyed the film apart from the back ground music, not quite the M. J. Q. more like a busker playing in the street, competing against someone emptying trash cans.

It's funny how so many films (and TV shows) by the Danzingers have essentially the exact same jazzy music scores with a little vibraphone-based band.
