Hi I've just done this today and still getting the codes and my turbo doesn't seem to be kicking in will this change if the codes get whiprd or is it likely to be something different can these codes stop my turbo from working/car not running right as a safety precotion or is that something I've made up in my head 😂

Despite all this, the CEL is still on. The error code is P0101, and I suspect it could be caused by a faulty sensor. What could be the issue? Can you help me?

There was a TSB for this fault where we plugged an adapter wiring harness between the car wiring and fan and a couple of wires from the adapter wiring harness going to the fuse box

No mention of shut down procedure before disconnecting battery ? Facelift models can be severely damaged battery disconnected without letting car shut down first.

If your 6 is as old as mine, be careful as the wires for the sensor can be super brittle 😬.

A few things you should do when carrying out a service is invest in a torque wrench and tighten everything to spec especially filter housings. Also when replacing the o rings it is always good practice to lubricate them before installation to stop them from perishing or getting pinched. There is also a specific socket you can buy from mercedes parts department to undo the fuel filter housing. Using pliers is not good as it will rough up the plastic housing and like i said you will not be able to torque it to spec with pliers

Hi Mate. When you replace the front brake pads on a W213, do you have to reposition the brakes so they are ready to be changed? You have to do it via the menu inside the car. Cheers

Excellent video mate. Im not someone who has ever done work on cars but I think I can do this. Just getting under the car and the shields etc seems to be the worst part. Got a question. Bought one of these a couple of months ago from auction. Its got service history with Mercedes up until the end of 2022. Next one was due 11/2023. The service interval inside the car says its 51 days over due ( so was due 11/2024) Is there anyway the car actually tracks when things like the oil filter/fuel/oil was last changed? Just so I know if it was actually serviced in 2023 or 2024. Maybe not buy a dealer but an independent etc Cheers.

Before fitting this sensor I would recommend startingbthe engine and proving the pipe from the engine is clear as the gas goes through a banjo bolt with a smallhole. Did you not test the supply wiring?

Do you know if this procedure is the same for the 2004 A4 quattro with 3.0 ?, the reading ive done so far suggest maybe the motor mount needs to be removed . i see you did not have to do this and I was under the impression the 3,0 and 3.2 were practically the same engine.

BEFORE You do any of this, have your battery checked (load tested...). I had all the same symptoms and all it was was the battery!!

I’ve got similar issue with 500 convertible. There is 12v in one wire. 4.5 v in another and nothing in the last two. The wires look ok at the boot hinge. Any ideas? Many thanks
