This is a snippet of the original studio recording of the "daft" portion of "The Quick and the Daft". I don't have any information on whether it was 1977 or 1979 that this was recorded (though it sounds more like '77 to me), but I do know that this take is from around that time. In other words, it is vintage, and not a hybrid like the version that was released in 2007.
An important note to make here is that there is more of this recording. This audio is only the second half. Unfortunately, I was only able to obtain a part of the full take, and this part had much of the beginning cut off. The segment was trimmed further for this video for the sake of listenability.
