@@tjc874 no it's a 16 bus riser so it performs the same.
Price ? I can build the same one using EBay for 1200-1400$
This one cost £2400, ($3000) the graphics card alone cost £1000. You could achieve a similar look with the case and fans but you'd have to cut back on other parts.
@ ouf, that hurts… I was talking about buying used components like the RX 7900 XTX for $550 and the Ryzen 7 5800X for €100, with everything else for around $300.
@ That might sound crazy, but for $3000, I can build a PC with an RTX 4090. 🤭
@ 1.RTX 4090 (used): ~$1500-$1700 2. Ryzen 5 5600 (used): ~$100-$150 3. Motherboard (used): ~$100-$150 4. RAM (32GB DDR4): ~$80-$120 5. Storage (1TB SSD): ~$50-$100 6. Power Supply (850W-1000W): ~$100 $150 7. Case: ~$50-$100 8. Cooler: ~$50-$100 9. Rgb fans for 50-60€ Total: $3000 or less, if you find good deals. I resell desktop PCs, and even in the worst cases, I make a profit of 400-500€. I’m 15 years old 👌🏼
But it’s a PC priced in euros, so I don’t know if PCs with such specs cost more in America.

A 250w can do that on flats whats it it lile on hills

@@EbikeRyder nice nice my bad il check them out now .... Reason why i ask is because im torn between a 1000w and a 1500w and i live in a very hilly area and im.wanting to know if its worth the extra on an extra 500w when 1000w should relitivly do
@@RoughWalkers yeah 1000w can rip up hills mate, I'm running mine on a 52v battery now too, which gives it more power. I'd recommend the voilamart kits with display, that gives you loads more access to settings and other options.
@@EbikeRyder great advice brother i think ill stick to 1000w and get a bigger battery thabk you so much

my speedo and odo dont work either how do you fix it?
@@michaelhart5070 with my display, it wasn't working because I went into the settings on it and changed the number of magnets setting to the wrong number. There are two settings for number of magnets, one related to the pedal assist ring (8). And the other one is the number of magnets in the wheel which I changed and shouldn't have. I changed it to 8 and it should have been 46.
@@EbikeRyder I just checked my 07 setting. set at 1 right now. so 1 magnet. doesnt make any sense. I dont think any magnets came off the motor either.
@@michaelhart5070 that number should be changeable, if it's for the number of magnets in the motor, if you change it to 46 it should start working hopefully mate.
@@EbikeRyder I dont know how many magnets are actually in the motor, or if they are loose or if i should even bother taking apart my hub motor?
@@michaelhart5070 no you don't need to, don't do that, you are telling the display how many magnets are in the motor by inputting the number, there's not a caencor in there countring them. Go to P07 in the display settings use the up arrow to change the number from 1 to 46. Then the Speedo will work.
I guess controller is the key... some 48v won't work on 36v... only for a little if 36v battery is fully charged... that is about 42v and 48v battery cuts off at 41v... so you have 1v range 🤣
Yes the controller and the LCD display are vital to change between different voltages. The settings in the controller can be changed through the LCD display settings, between 36v and 72v but some controllers won't support past 52v.
Did you upgrade your controller?
not in this video, just 1000w motor and controller. But i have upgraded to 1500w controller with 52v battery since and now get 39mph.
@@EbikeRyder 1500watts controller? It doesn't burn yung 1000 hub motor? Thanks.
@@marcodelacruz4354 no it's fine it's done 1600 miles with no issues, I had to match the brand for the motor and controller though.
I have 48v 750 w motor with 48v battery and only get 46 km/h
Is it a self build or did you buy it pre built ebike?
@@EbikeRyder self build
@@younessghir 46kmh is 28mph which sounds about right with a 750w motor. You'd need a more powerful motor to get faster I think.
@@EbikeRyder yesterday i add another battery to mine .tottaly 72 v .but i only get 52 km/h and sometimes the motor fail
@@younessghir yes this is too much power for the 750w controller and will probably burn it out or burn out the motor. I upgraded my controller box to 1500w with 1000w motor so it could take 52v battery, the 1000w 48v controller couldn't handle 52v. I don't think you will get more than 28mph from a 750w motor no matter what voltage the battery is.
Max speed ?
This is my old bike, it topped out at around 23mph with the 36v battery but had no power for hills.it got 33mph with a 48v battery. I'm now running a 1000w motor with 1500w controller and 52v battery, now I get 38mph and 25mph up steep hills.
@@EbikeRyder thanks
Morning. I’m actually in Manchester and just about to try and put the same kit together on a Marin Bobcat 4. Looks like you have a good 2000 miles on that bike which means you have the experience I don’t. Any chance you could chuck a parts list up and even better links? Or is it a kit?? That would be awesome of you!!
Hi the kit is a Voilamart 1000w rear hub kit, the battery is a 52v 20ah triangle battery for the centre of the frame. Unfortunately I can't find links to the exact ones I bought because it was 3 years ago. If you are going to buy 52v battery it might be better to get the 1500w Voilamart kit so it can handle the extra voltage.
@@EbikeRyder you are a star! thank you very much for your prompt reply.
@@EbikeRyder Morning. Thanks you for the advice. May I ask one more question. I have got my bike up and running with a 1500w 52v 20ah. (of course I would only use it on private land!)........... anyway the PAS modes seem to throw full power until I get to a certain speed and then cut off. So when I get up to say 15 mph it will cut the power right down and with a few turns of the pedals dumps the power on again. Perfectly manageable. However I was wondering if I could control the wattage or power output instead of the speed? As a random example level 1 PAS = 100 watts Level 2 = 150 watts and so on. Or am I in dream land. Thanks you in advance for your help!
It would depend on the kit you bought mate, mine is voilamart with the SW900 display, with this I can access extra settings by press and hold up and down arrows together while the bike is switched on, but then you need a list to know what each number corresponds to. Not sure if you have this option.Personally I don't use the PAS so don't know much about it. If you can access the settings(it'll say P01 flashing on the display) message me and here and I'll type out the list or the relevant one for PAS. @@chrisandrews7518
@@EbikeRyder I have the sw900 display also. Ok I think I have it figured out. Seems like it is controller dependant. Anyway thanks for your advice. The specs you gave me before work a treat and im 120kgs!! Cheers.
Hi I when I try this I can only go slowly or if I push the throttle too much I get error 006 low voltage ??, and when I don't sit on the bike and use the motor it goes 30mph, it doesn't make sens
This sounds like either your connection between your battery and controller box has a problem or your battery is not powerful enough. When I was using a 36v battery it was 30mph maximum. I now use a 1000w motor with a 1500w controller box and a 52v battery and get 38mph. Just make sure you match your replacement controller with your kit if you do this.
does anyone know if the controller for this kit is sine wave or square wave
I'm surprised you're allowed to have this bike in Europe, don't they have a ban on powerful ebikes?
No mate, in the UK they leave us alone because we have a giant deliveroo industry that all use them.
ive just got a 1000 watt rear wheel to build another bike ,ive been messing around building my own batterys and doing the range tests on my 250 and 500 watt bikes ,dont think i will keep the 1000 watt bike as i do alot of canal riding and wouldnt need that power ,great video ,nice one
Give up on the bike? I get it. Short-distance rides in traffic suck.
Yeah pretty much exactly, and I've been on my second bike for months, my main bike needs work.will start doing some ride videos soon hopefully.
Why u r not showing the cycle only running what is the use no
So a 48v 1000w ebike hub or tire will work with a 36v battery. Was my question. And it looks like it works.
Yes but you need to change the controller box settings to 36v otherwise it thinks a 36vbattery is a depleted 48v battery and won't last very long.
Awesome to see it come together piece by piece. Good work man💪🏻
Cheers mate.
Is that higher Broughton?
It is mate yes.

Thanks mate, I haven't done a ride video for a while, but running 2 bikes with the same kits now. Just one with 48v battery and the other 52v battery and 1500w controller box from eBay.
Why have I only just discovered your channel. I love it. Thanks for sharing your e-bike journeys. I lived in Manchester in 1977-89 and went there for a reunion last Friday. I’m still living the nostalgia through your videos. Thank you. 👍

If pedestrians need to contantly react to ur riding, u are riding too fast
Front wheel buckeld
This kit sounds very quiet to the other voilamart kit vid i looked at? And is it directdrive or geared drive ? Ive been looking at conversions and dont know which to go for
Usually if you hear a noise from these kits it means some capacitors have blown in the controller box, makes a wurring sound. Mines a rear hub motor and doesn't need gears for use. I've got 2 bikes with same kit so I'd recommend them. They're on 2400miles and 1600miles and going strong. They're also much easier to fit to the bike.
Thats not The Cliff, thats a playing field
I'm standing about 30 metres from the cliff on the other side of the irwell on the old Manchester race course, now used for river overflow.

Start of the vid, wrong way in a one-way street! You're a danger to yourself and others!
Are you mithered about using an unlicensed vehicle on the road? I'm not having a go just think it's inevitable the filth are gonna crack down on them. 👍
There are very clear rules and laws in place about ebikes, the police stored my bike for 2 months after I had an accident and broke my collar bone, then gave it back to me with no issues. I think if anything the stupid deliveroo riders will end up getting everyone banned because they don't follow any road rules and ignore red lights.
My ebike which I custom built has a 1000watt motor and I installed a 48volt 10amp battery but my max speed is only 28mph, do u have an idea why? I'm so surprised your 1000 watt motor can do 35mph flawlessly
Hi mate, the low amp (10ah) battery could be a part of it, if you get a battery with higher capacity (mines 20ah) that will definitely increase your top speed. Also if you have the Voilamart kit or one with settings accessed from the display, make sure you're controller box is set to 48v and not 36v.
It could take off in that huge hall
I have a 1000watt 52v battery with a 48v controller I just ordered a 1500watt controller hopefully it makes my bike faster .
