This Audi TT came into the shop with not heat. First check was to see if the engine was coming up to temperature, engine temperature would not come above 165*F. While this is plenty warm for the system create heat, it was a sign that the thermostat was stuck open to some extent. The blower motor is prone to having issues in some older Audi vehicles including the TT. If this happens your heating and air conditioning system will become inoperative. This video demostrates an easy way to check for and identify the problem, and easily fix the issue in some instances.
