Loved both of these. I have pieced this one too and it was a constant turning things around, just couldn’t seemed to get a rhythm on how it went without looking at the picture. Results are beautiful, look forward to seeing them quilted.

I really like how you tell where you got the pattern from but then you are very detailed on size of squares and how to do it so I can just follow you. This is an awesome pattern and amazing that you longarm!

Both are pretty - but I like the scrappy more. Just wondered how much thread you used with a serger - especially unpicking! Or is it easier to take out stitches? Your points are super.

Great Video. You are brave to use a serger to quilt. I made the Antique Lace quilt in queen size. I used FQ's and yardage. I did it, but I was cross eyed when I finished. I did it in various blues. I didn't buy the pattern. I used Jenny's video. There is a mistake on the big block she holds up in the beginning of her You Tube Video. 2nd row 2nd block --the HST is facing the wrong way. Check out the other 3 corners and you'll see what I mean. I found that using an accurate 1/4 inch on my sewing machine with a smaller stitch and a proper HST trimming tool was the secret to my success.

I know what you mean about "loathing" HST's.😂. I love hst quilts, but not crazy about making them. I have a love/hate relationship with hst!😂 8 at a time method is easier, but don't think that will work with a serger. Nevertheless, I love both of your quilts... the scrappy on white is my favorite. Once it's quilted and binding is on, they will look fabulous! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this video. I took a confetti quilt top class today and it was just too chaotic/unstructured. I like the step-by-step process that you demonstrate. I will look for the dimensions of the rectangles that you are using. I like that you are using large squares on top of your background fabric.
