Regardless of your feelings AI is here and will impact everything. People use things others believe are immoral all the time. If you say you dont if you are using a phone, battery or one of thousands of other products you are likely supporting slavery and the destruction of ecosystems in other countries. AI is not an issue and use it however you want. Ffs when digital art first started artists belittled people who didnt do it "the right way" using paper, canvas etc as they could just fix mistakes which takes the soul out of art. Sounds familiar to me. People have been losing jobs to technology for a long time. Artists just got lucky and were insulated. Now they are going through what everyone else has been for a long time.

I tried to use 3.9.0 version of CapCut but it didn’t work and stuff like edge glow, obliuqe blur, many animations are still pro just like that current version do you know how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

Literally doesn't work, the older versions are all auto updated as well. Not a clue how even one person in these comments can say this worked, it didnt. Bet you 10000% that none of them checked the version a few minutes after installing the old version. Everyones will auto update to the newest capcut even if you go download 3.1, something super old. Unreal how many comments are lying.

This is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen

It's trained off anime because anime is the largest easily found **tagged** database (danboru, youtube). All AI/LLM is a glorified parrot - they copy what they are told to. Then they generate or do the next thing based on what they copied. But you have to tell it or tag - what you want to copy. And you need millions of tagged images - which are mostly anime - or pay millions of dollars to create your own training databases.

This is scary. As a non digital miniature diorama artist, I’m seeing it in my genre, too! Too many “Realistic” photos of sculptures and now videos. One reason would be to get monetized. Too many people wanting to “get rich quick” or easy money. Ugh

AI Art would be fine as A Reference point IF IT WASN'T STEALING ART STYLES AND ART FROM OTHER ARTIST. AI Can be a positive tool but not like this. Do not steal from artist and hoping that In the future AI can generate its own form of coding of Postures , body reference or a idea booster for artist without Plagiarism (Or taking art styles from other artist/ people) in play. Cuz In context without the Plagiarism It would be so COOL To have your own little Jarvis That can guide and help you be more creative and help you progress in different mediums of art.

0:49 - It *was*, indeed, long ago that "AI" text generator was a thought, not even, something more deep such as code generator/optimisator and more. You can trace some of it back to 80s-90s and we've got lots of good things. It's just that there weren't many impressive results, or they were really niche (such as Code Compilers) and lots of research over decades was done behind the scenes. A simple examples would be: Machine Translation, Google Search (it's an algo just as "AI" is, alright? especially now) and lots of neural networks, which was done by enthusiasts etc etc Im taking "AI" in quotation marks, cause it doesn't *really* think, it's just an algorithm as anything else we saw, but the scale and complexity of it is on a whole new level I would like to mention the amount of time it took to push AI from first *huge* Word Predictor (which is what GPT is) to SORA. It is, indeed, impressive It is nice technology too, to be fair. Say, you have an image of a phone and want program to recognize it. Cool. Average programmer could make something to recognize it in a week or two, depending on a mood. But now let's start rotating phone around, changing colours, put another model and the task becomes incredibly complex... but "AI" can do that easily. What isn't nice is what vast majority of people do with it and that's on them, not on "AI". And at this point we're circling back to video's topic People behind it *maybe* had a good thought in mind, cause from what you've shown it doesn't look so straight forward and has an actual mind process behind it. Im willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt This "AI" doesn't make good job, still has Uncanny Valley kinda vibe (walmart american would buy it, though). I see how it could be used for good, but then again people **will** turn tech into shit As for the majority users of such an AI, i think this is a big skill issue (in a lot of areas, not just Art, just think about it for a second). Art is always open for anyone (look at PewDiwPie lol). If you use AI to create *whole* piece and then *this*, then you're just lazy, not willing to commit and not worth a dine. god thanks, ive switched beetween editors and found capcut 2 years ago and ever since they have made everything so hard to edit with because they are greedy it's been almost impossible to edit like I used to

At my workplace professional artist use AI as a tool to help them. And they are definitely not a "fake" artists. Unless you don't mind being left behind, you should start learning how to use AI. unless, of course, art is just a hobby for you. In that case, you're free to do whatever you like. However, it’s naive to completely dismiss AI if you're a professional. AI will only become more powerful as technology advances. For instance, Nvidia is launching their new 50-series GPUs this month. And their focus is heavily on AI. I find it silly to label someone as not being a "real" artist just because they use AI tools. What does "real" or "fake" artist even mean? "Artist" is just a title. No one is going to hire you solely because you're a "real" artist. There's a difference between professionals who rely on their art to make a living and those who just draw pretty pictures to post in social media to chase likes. If I were hiring, I’d choose Josh because he creates great art. At the end of the day, that’s what really matters. For context, I’m both an artist and a programmer-art is my hobby, while programming is my daily job. I’ve done both AI-generated art and traditional art. The same logic applies to programming. There’s a difference between a professional programmer and someone who codes Python scripts as a hobby. Even in programming, AI tools are becoming essential, and it’s possible that AI might eventually replace our jobs. For now, though, it’s important to learn how to use these tools effectively.

Capcut was good but each update has made it worse and worse. They charge way too much for pro and should have a lifetime license as subscriptions forever is super anti consumer.

Currently, the features of the older versions are no longer available for free, as you mentioned. CapCut may no longer allow users to use them for free. Is there any way to restore it to how it was before?
