As a kid, every summer we would go to SeaWorld of Ohio back in the 90s. This brought back so many memories.

tbh if sea world and six flags both managed this park this could have been epic i don’t live close but they maybe could rank against cedar point with some much bigger additions

I worked in facility maintenance along with several other great people and friends. And then along came Cedar point Then they made there wish come true and shut down all. Will never visit anything of cedar fair or point ever. Greed ruins all.

This is my childhood I remember me going there

Every summer my family went and I had so much fun. I was the youngest of 8 cousins and 2 were twins and the other 2 were really close in age all of them being at least 4 years older than me. My older cousin used to stay with me and let me go in the lazy river and kid area I was around 6 and he was about 11 at the time. I'm now 12 and hes 16 it's crazy how much I remember from there, the smells and feelings and that rope at the entrance too!! That had the weirdest feeling. I rember one time we got rained out and had to sit underneath the balcony and out map got ruined and I was eating a fun dip and my family got so worried when I ate the stick. I miss this place so much. And I miss everything about my cousins and the memories we made here. And I am so sad they closed and I never could Finnish the memories.

They never added any slides since 2005 when they opened! I think Cedar Fair forgot about Wildwater kingdom!

At the one minute mark, those buildings on the lakeside used to make up the Hawaiian and Japanese village. The roof that’s rectangular with an open rectangle “courtyard” down the center - that’s where the ama divers‘ pool was. The pool area was open to the sky. If interested, I can map it out. I spent 6 summers straight working in that back corner of the park. :)

That music was way to upbeat for this sadness. 😢 imagine how much money someone could make selling pieces of this.? And all the schools and malls that have been taken down.

I miss wild water kingdom so much, it was my favorite water park because it was so close to home and me me and my family would get seasonal passes and it was so fun

So sad! It could have been moved and reassembled, but Cedar Fair just let it rot.

Oh my God, this is sad. My childhood was there. My mom wouldn't allow me to ride, but when I was finally 14 my dad said for Pete's sake, let her ride already! And did I ride!!! Over and over and over and over,into adulthood and over and over....my absolute favorite coaster you were, dear Big Dipper.

Man, this is depressing. I went here the year it closed, and it was really fun. Sad to see it closed for good.

Wild water kingdom closed too in 2016 across the lake gueaga lake has been closed since 2007 and also is abandoned. That whole area is nothing but a graveyard of amusement parks

I Remember That Coaster Was Once Named The Clipper, Before Being Changed To The Big Dipper.

Now I have no reason to ever go back to Geauga Lake..."Those Greedy Morons" This was such a great water park, mainly because you didn't have to wait three hours to get on a slide, like you do anything at Cedar Point. I grew up with the original Geauga Lake Amusement Park, so been going there forever. When they re-created this water park, it was a dream come true. GL started going downhill when they were sued cause of THE WAVE ride decades ago, ..it was the coolest ride on the planet. Opened with 12 foot waves! ..of course someone got hurt or drowned, they should of never let little kids on that, and all might be good today. (Should of just given them their own kiddie wave pool) People's greed destroys everything! Glad it's not possible to sue the OCEAN!! Same thing happen to Sea World, after a horrible show/boat accident went into the crowd. Sued, shutdown not long after.

For a moment there I believed this video referred to the park adjacent to Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I hadn't been aware of another Wildwater Kingdom, so similar in appearance to the one I'm familiar with, being in existence. This is an interesting video you've posted.
