There isn't anything special here. This is just doing the job. It's all going to depend on how the customer feels. 9/10 times they won't increase your tip. My advice is follow these tips but don't go if the job isn't economical to start. That way you won't be disappointed if your tip isn't big.

Don't take high paying batches with heavy pay. They aren't worth it. Don't take triples either, that's just a way for them to give some cheapskate non-tipper free service at your expense. Aim for batches that pay $18-$30 with up to 15 items. For Canadians, don't take batches over 15 items at Food Basics. Don't take walmart batches over 20 items.

I look at distance and price. I use an estimate so $1 per item and 1 mile = 3 mins local rds so I do not take orders over 10 miles. For example a customer wanting 20 items living 3 miles away would be paying close to $20 and it will take me 15 mins to deliver.

I just started doing Costco about 2 weeks ago. I started doing Instacart back in 2020 and never shopped at Costco because its so hard to find items, so after my first order I never went back. I am shopping at the store now and she is 100 percent correct, parking is crazy, the store is just out of control with traffic and the items can be very heavy. After about 12-2pm it starts to get slow and for some reason in my area after about two batches, that's it. The pay is good but the drop offs are very far and each back takes about 2 hours from start to finish.

I'd rather take a low item shop with high mileage over a short distance delivery with madd items because I drive an electric car and I can charge for the low, but with a high item count a lot of the stuff isn't going to be there, it's frustrating lookin, I don't eat that stuff🙆🏿‍♂ lol.... Plus when I drive far out I'll star to shop in that area after I drop off, only thing is that sometimes I'll be the only Black person in the store gettin looks 🤣

Don’t go to the recommended stores. They only show you what they want to show you.

I shop Costco all day. Lately they have been giving me crappy orders.

Lies! I have been diamond 💎 for the last 30 days! I still see crap 💩 orders even sitting in a parking lot! 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 especially those damn 3 shops!! I hate them!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫 I see no tip and LOW TIP orders with high mileage 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ I have seen some good orders the highest being $104 for a 2 shop. I have a 5 star ⭐️ rating!! With a ton of great compliments from customers! Maybe it’s my market. It’s soooo many shoppers

My first experience shopping at Costco took me two to three hours because I didn’t know where anything was. It was so chaotic, and I felt drained afterward. I didn’t go back for a while but eventually changed my mind because I’ve seen too many shoppers on YT talk about how much they can make. It got a lot easier, and I can finish anywhere in one to two hours, depending on how many items and people are within the batch order. I do agree about the congestion and heavy items. It’s a pain, but I’ve adjusted and found a way to make it through.

Is cetaphil cleansing and moisturizing bar soap okay to use down there cuz this isn’t available in where I live

Instacart is market based what customers are willing to tip in your area is what matters. In my area i see $50+ all the time hence my market and im in WA not cali. I recommend watching gig dollar man or matt kirk on youtube they will show you how they make $300+ ... if you say i never see batches like that then Instacart may not be in your best interest for where you live.

Yes you are correct I log on at 6am. I work until 10am. Because my regular job starts 10am - 7pm. The morning is better. I try and have a goal $100 a day lately I have to Make my goal $50 per day does not seem like a lot but $250 part-time is not that bad. Best time is Morning
