Those aren’t transmission cooling lines; I’m afraid those are the power steering return line. I just rebuilt the power steering system on my Buick rendezvous (same architecture as the Montana family)

I don't understand why you don't have to loosen or even take the bolts off the transmission mount when you raise that thing up

what if some of you guys remove the top motor mounts and some of you don't I don't see how you could do it without tearing something up

I’ve drained to flush my cooling system and replace the thermostat multiple times and never had an issue with bleeding. I just bleed it like the manual says and the heat works fine. It’s usually still up on ramps from when I drained everything so maybe that helps. Open water pump bleeder (passenger side). Fill radiator until water comes out of water pump bleeder. Close bleeder and cap radiator. Start engine and turn on both heaters (front and rear). Squeeze upper radiator tube while burping the water pump bleeder until the thermostat opens. Bleed the thermostat housing bleeder and burp the water pump bleeder. Rev the engine a bit and burp them both again before you close it all up and you’re done.

Was it vibrating once it hit second gear? My silhouette vibrates like no one's business when it's shifted into the next gear. I thought it was my cv axle because it was shot, but i changed it and it still vibrates!! Help!!

Never jack it up on the pan you can damage it... always find a part on the tranny itself... Definitely bad idea.

What kind of mount did you get? I thought an Anchor front mount would be OK but it only lasted about 6 weeks!

01 Pontiac Grand Prix. What is a decent motor mount that won't break the bank? Everybody on the internet is saying that anchor and DEA are junk. I am not looking to spend $80 at the general motors dealership. I am not real hard on my car will a anchor or DEA Mount be good enough for me?

Strange thing i found out about my 1974 Dodge sportsman motor home with a 360 engine is it would not run or even start till i found it a half court low on trans fluid. i noticed the pan was wet. SO I put a half Court in it and it started up and drove nice. 3 weeks low again same thing happened and replacing pan. This must be a protection to prevent Damage to Transmission. Coil also goes bad and needs replacing when this problem happening once but not the first time.

Do you add fluid through the ball valve or through the rad cap

Can you fill it thru valve when cold , too. ? I suspect head gasket leaking air in thru gasket on compression stroke.

There is a tool to fill the coolant in your cooling system. It call "coolant vacuum fill kit". Bleeding and burping will not work if your heater core is sitting higher than your engine or radiator. With this kit, it will eliminate all the air pocket in your cooling system. You can find it on eBay for around 35 dollars. Best of luck to anyone with 3.4l engine.

your voltage regulator is supposed to be very well grounded by using a clean metal ground through zinc coated mounting screws, you need to attach 2 more to your firwall voltage re goo later!.... Gonz...clean grounds on a motorhome ive got a 1978 doge tioga...wear eye and face protection nasty, rusty oily crud...
