    Plasma cutter , a MiG welder and a sheet metal would run you 2000$ at least . Use a scrap sheet metal and a self taping screws. If u have all that the. You should be buying a wheel barrow in the first place. He should be building it himself.

  • @gort5583
    @gort5583 Месяц назад

    I like it and if I had all the tools, I would do it, but, I don't, pity, I think what you did gave your wheel barrow a new lease on life.

    • @derpherpp3
      @derpherpp3 20 дней назад

      Or u could put sheet of metal in the bottom and use self taping screws to hold it there.

    where's the ant cap? the termites will be straight up those blocks. it took the little bastards about 2 months to invade my house after i replaced the rotted timber with brick piers. i caught them. i found out that termites cant stand diesel so i coated the brickwork with diesel. it took a month and they were back. i put gal plates on top of the bricks. they came back again because i hadnt turned the outside edges down 45 degrees because it made it so much easier to fit them in. so i had to crawl under the house again with various pairs of pliers and bend the edges down. that fixed it.

    Do I have base ball size hole. Jb weld should work with same concepts right?

  • @elwrongo
    @elwrongo Год назад

    not sure I'd go with wet area base coat for filler. I wouldn't imagine it being flexible enough for weatherboards or the temp changes outdoors. More inclined to use an exterior wood filler like Porion. Anyone else had experience with using a wet area base coat for this type of work?

    Suggest bending a hook on the end of the steel rod to insert into the bottom, saves cutting if you only have a short offcut. A wet vac is a great thing to clean out the hole when you go to remove the old stump and dirt. You make it look easy, but it is a cow of a job to do!

    I'm not a builder but we are looking at buying a weatherboard house and was wondering about doing some of the work ourselves and using a tradie for the technical stuff. This video certainly built up our confidence about that so thank you. Suggestion for part 2 is dealing with gaps between boards.

      DONT NO MORE GAP BETWEEN BOARDS,BEING UNDER, IF ITS REALY BAD AT MOST I WOULD USE SIKA MS SEALER ,ITS GOT THE BEST ELASTICITY, NO MORE GAPS WILL NOT STAY THERE WHEN BOARDS MOVE THROUGH SUMER TO WINTER, I HAVE BEEN IN THE TRADE FOR 39 YEARS NOW AND I HAVE SEEN EVERYTHING, GOOD LUCK

    Is the wet area gyprock base coat suitable for exterior? UV weather boards flexing contracting and expansion,also with shrinkage,there are no recommendations from the manufacture for this,wood and plaster are very different substrates,if it is approved then they have come along way,I liked the meshing technique and I think I can corporate it into my normal filling on boards.I enjoyed your first video.

      @@franktradetipstricks3698 And that was not meant to sound rude so don't take it that way. I literally just couldn't understand most of your talking over the music. I understand trying to make it not boring. Just need to not take away from your valuable input as that is the most important aspect the user is looking for. Background music doesn't have to be the main focus (and shouldn't). This is one of those cases where "less is more". I would rather hear your description. Keep on doing what you do and keep improving.

      It needs the bent front right stub axle changed, the breaks need attention & the temporary retread on the right front is too unsafe for the street (needs new B45 front wheel) Got to fix the back & R.H rear quarter also before Taking it out. Will cover these fixes in future episodes. Will get to burn some rubber eventually😀.
