Recently adopted a new cat (sadley the two cat I mentioned in my last comments passed away, they were old ladies and had fun and happy lives) and yeah as I said in my last comments, you don't pick the cat, the cat picks you. The newest addition to my family, when I went to see her at the shelter sat on my lap and purred and has been doing that every day since bringing her home. A true example of the cat picking it's human. Cats love in a way that dogs don't, cats are more sutble in how they love you in my opinion.

I am not keen on some of these cat cafes, like the samoyed cafe I have seen, the animals look nice but arent loved and cared for, except as money makers...

This country is doomed. What an utter puss. Smdh

People with fear like that-- -need to go to the web and look up ROBERT SMITH and FASTER EFT--- you can learn it yourself ONLINE in about 5 minutes--and then DO it for yourself in as little time-- and you can use it to clear fears almost instantly. What really happens is it removed the "EMOTIONAL CHARGE:" from any incidence that caused the trauma. You still have the physical memory- but the emotional charge causing the fear is GONE-- and you can do it yourself- NO years of therapy and all that psychological hogwash!!! I used it to remove a GRAPE ALLERGY-- and did so in about an hour- and now I can eat grapes by the big bunch- whereas before, ONE grape would have put me in the hosiptal...

I actually love cats but I have a fear of all those steps you have to climb to get to the cat cafe. It must be due to a horrible incident as a kid where I had to climb lots of steps, perhaps to a dentist office?

This looks more like cat phobia than cat hate. I love cats. My fear is heights. I looked like this when I visited Grand Canyon's West's Sky Bridge. But I conquered the fear and literally have the tshirt and snow globe as a reminder.

I really think if she got her own little kitten, she would be a very loving pet owner, realize that pet is like a child and you can bond so strongly with them, and experience the joy us cat people know daily. Each kitty is their own personality; we have 5 who are an endless parade of love, drama, giggles goofiness, comfort, and sweetness.

This is a human room for the cats, they’re the ones deciding if they wanna play with their chosen human or not..😂

Sweet cats

A lot of cats will gravitate to people who are sitting quietly and not chasing after them because they usually prefer to approach humans at their own pace. If someone who's ailurophobic is aware of this beforehand, they might be more prepared to face a cat's approach than if they didn't know their avoidant behavior might accidently be appealing to cats.

As a cat lover, I am SOO PROUD of her. I know this is 3 years old already, but it’s no small feat to overcome a fear like that. Especially a fear from childhood. Cats are such awesome little creatures. I hope she is way more comfortable around them now. Again, good damn job. I know it wasn’t easy.

I want to go to a cat cafe. I adore cats, but can't own one. I am a skilled pussy whisperer too, and have been known to have shy, aloof and hissing cats purring on my lap quite quickly. But the cat cafe nearest me is like a brothel for cat addicts. So many rules, so expensive at £45.00 an hour, plus food and drink. It's a scam and the cats are just pimped out!

Hate and scared are two different things. Hate is a strong negative feeling that can incur violence. This is fear. I don't hate dogs but i fear them after i was attacked by a dalmatian.

Its ok, I have a fear of snakes and went to a snake temple where they were all just hanging around. It didn't help, but they're not cute and furry either.
