Very nice ❤
@@Nehemiah-f4j Thank you! :)
Thank you. I’ve just started learning Hebrew. Beautiful written and spoken language. My main purpose of learning Hebrew is to better understand the original meaning both linguistically and culturally of the Bible, Tanakh. Plus the Hebrew worship music I listen to is a mixture of traditional and Messianic. 🙏
You're welcome! I hope my channel will be helpful for you. :)

Okay? So what is the translation??
I read the verses in English at the beginning, if that's what you're asking. :)
@@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew, Sorry, i meant what is the correct translation?
@@grandez82 Oh, okay. The translation is correct, but the meaning is only conveyed in the Hebrew with the play on words. Puns are generally quite difficult to translate into different languages.
They are the 12(13) celestial houses or months That is in the Kabbalah
Super explained Sir 🙏
Thank you! :)
Hi, I really appreciate your video. I am still a student of The Word of the Lord. All I have read in His Word is beautiful and loving. How to love Him and our neighbors. Even our neighbor's donkey that may have a heavy burden we should help. How wonderful is the Lord God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. I wanted to read the 613 laws. I did and found how beautiful and full of love for all of His creation and for Him in each one. All Honor, praise, glory, worship belongs to Him.
Great
Superb
What is the difference between ע and( א ( אור), ( עור?
אור means light and עור means skin. In Modern Hebrew both are pronounced the same: or.

Looks great, but I'd like to correct you at something as a native speaker: The feminine form of the word "with you" (עימך) sounds like "imekh" (עִמֵּךָ) and not like "imakh". Imakh (עִמָּךְ) is an ancient masculine form, so don't use it. Say Imekh and not Imakh. Another thing, a more popular word for "with you" is איתך, and it sounds like It-kha (אִתְּךָ) for a male and Itakh (אִתָּךְ) for a female.
Thank you for your input! I got the information about the suffixes on im from this website: www.pealim.com/dict/4112-im/ I guess that perhaps the 'correct' pronunciation may be 'imakh', but the more natural would be 'imekh'? And yes, I'll be getting into the preposition את really soon. :)
@@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew Imekh (עימֵך) has the same concept as Etzlekh (אצלֵך), Bishvilekh (בשבילֵך), etc. I'm sure the next video will be great :)
@@omeritzics Thank you! That's interesting though, since it seems that usually the fs you suffix has the same preceding vowel as the suffix for 'us', and so you would have imAnu and imAkh instead of imekh. What do you think?
@@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew This is incorrect. The feminine form of words ending with ך has the same rules like ך in the שייכות. For example, Beitekh (ביתֵך), Lakhmekh (לחמֵך), Sifrekh (ספרֵך)...
@@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew But some words (like שֶׁלָּך) are special and don't end with ekh
This is amazing Jewish knowledge to learn שלום עליך!
I'm glad I could help you! :)
Very interesting, useful and well done. Thank you so much!
You're very welcome! Thanks for your comment! :)
Hebrew is read right to left
How about iti, itkha, itah... You mean my ulpan studies were waste of time?
Both the prepositions עם and את mean 'with'. It seems that at least in Modern Hebrew, עם is used more without suffixes, and את with suffixes.
Excellent video, Blessings Brother Man
Thank you, I appreciate it! :)
Your all vedeos are very interesting sir.. God bless you 🙏
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy them! :)
Great great lessons Matthew. I wanted to ask if you could elaborate on the Verb, Subject, Object method? Todah
@@silasl.nechemyah6015 Thank you! Basically, the verb is the action being done, the subject is what is doing that action, and the object is what the action is being done to. I talk about this a little more in my most recent Hebrew Basics video (#8). Hope that helps!
Yes true, but you have to also break down other words you can find in it! Like *"Sham (Name) + Mauth/Muth (Death)."* I truly believe that the Creator's Name was- יהיה for YaHaYaH. And He said He does a new thing many times. And with twist of the tongues since Babalan. That He told Abraham, or that Abraham wrote "YaHUaH"!
Very good teacher 🎉
Thank you! :)

These are the actual names & meanings. Not the modern Hebrew ones: Rǎubǎn (Behold, a son) Shǎmǎun (He Who Hears) Luy (To Join) Yǎhudǎh👑 (Praised of YaHUaH) Dǎn (Judge) it’s pronounced “don” Nâphtâly (My Struggle) Gud (Troop) Ǎshǎr (Happy) Ǎyshshǎkǎr (Man of Hire) Zǎbǎlun (Dwelling) Yǎhusǎph (YaHUah adds) Bǎnyǎmyn (Son of the Right-Hand) There was not letter e, f, i, j, o, v, w, or x. Shǎlům Ǎlykǎm (Peace be upon you)
Excellent, as usual!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! :)

Don't know about you bro but as a native Hebrew speaker Israeli born and raised we do pronounce the second ש in the name of יששכר
Interesting! I just know that it's usually pronounced with one sin when reading the Hebrew Bible.
How is א&ע silent? אב =father, The a is audible עברי = Ibry, the I is audible
What's making the vowel sounds is the vowel markers which make their sounds between the letters. These markers were not always written, since originally Hebrew and many other Semitic languages only spelled their consonants.
@@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew so why does the word "hebrew" even exist,.when it is not even an accurate translation or Transliteration...? With the language being named after Ibr, why has the misnomer been used instead of the Dejure word...? There is no man named Hebrew of the record of the Thorah...
@@YadonYashar-Al_320 I'm not familiar with the specifics of how the word Ivri changed into the English Hebrew, but it's nothing new. Every language has its own way of referring to other languages, using its own sounds and letters, which usually doesn't perfectly coincide with the original name.
@@LearnTheLingo_Hebrew "every language has its own way of referring to other languages" ~ what it that statement in response to? I'm refering to one in the same language... Ibry is the language that the misnomer hebrew has been overlaid. Thorah stipulates that all of the Original 70 לשניא, were indicative of the man and or nation from whence it aboriginated. @@YadonYashar-Al_320 I mean in English we call the language עברית (Ivrit) Hebrew, and likewise don't call Spanish español even though that's what native speakers call it.

Good question! Rakh (רך), which means soft, is spelled with a kaph, which has a guttural sound, and raq (רק), which means only, is spelled with a qof, which does not have a guttural sound.
