    What a difficult but important speech! Thank you! I'm so sorry you've been through it. It's such a relief to know it isn't me. I've been trying to take control of it, my therapy sessions help all the days except those 4-6 prementrual days. On those days it's like it isn't me, I am extremely fatigued, hypersensitive, depressed, I can't speak. I understand tomorrow is the next day, it always passes, but sometimes it's really unbearable, it's a torture. When I try to explain how I feel, I don't know how to do it, because ithose symptoms don't sound serious or as torturing as they feel. Yet there is hope.

I had an endometrioid cyst removed a year ago, but I've had most of the symptoms over the last 6 months or so (before the surgery too) . Does it mean my symptoms might be caused by endometriosis, not PMDD?

    Thank you for helping me not feel alone with this. Every month I start panicking when I feel the PMDD coming on because I’m terrified of my own thoughts and fear the overwhelming dread building. It’s as though I’m not myself and I can’t control what comes over me. I just want to be able to sleep until it’s over. I’m ashamed and hope no one sees me during this time. I don’t want my daughter to remember me as this humiliating person that takes me over one week each month. This suddenly started as I became perimenopausal and I continue to struggle every month to figure out how to make this stop. I don’t feel like anyone understands how crazy and mentally I’ll I feel when I try to explain. I can’t believe how little this is spoke about. So thank you for going n youtube with your story and thank you for saying just wait one more day because you are right, it usually does pass. We just need someone to believe us with a hug and tell us to hold on, it WILL be ok.❤️

    This is really, really sad. Your leg hurts, amputate, memory issues, just remove the brain... our medical system is so screwed up. . I cured my PMDD with an animal based diet. Check out Georgia Ede to learn how a carnivore, ketogenic, or even just low carb diet, changes the brain and treats any mental illness. PMDD is an issue of how the brain responds to hormonal fluctuations. The solution is not to remove the hormones. Hormones are neccessary for overall health and aging. The women tricked into sugical menopause are going to age rapidly and end up with all kinds of health problems. Anyone advocating for this is a monster and needs a paradigm shift and to restart their education.

      It can be overcome and managed, but both parties need to know everything about psychology and how to apply it and be decided about what principles in every area of life down to where you place the tooth brush that you're going to agree upon to make the relatioship work. I have given both mine and my husbands testimony in two recent comments in this thread if you're interested in reading. I'm sorry and I'm also not sorry that you've had to go through this. You're possibly grieving loss, if nothing else a feeling of lost time if the relationship is over, But on the other hand, you will have learned a thing or two that you can carry into the future regardless of the direction you take. I have been blocked from making any more comments on this post.

      Hello everyone! I short update here. We are still together. I have gotten used to this miserable situation of being told how ugly and useless I am once a month. The reason I put up with this is my daughter, who is five. I don't care about anything else than her well-being. I will separate from my partner as soon as she is old enough for me to raise her all on my own. Until then I just go numb and wait.

    • @jessejules2092
      @jessejules2092 3 месяца назад

      I would want my son to be happy, I would want that for him, but I wouldn't want him raising his children in a toxic environment. I raised my son on my own with PMDD and he at 18, is now a very self aware and emotionally strong individual who advises me on my emotional health because of how much he learned in our relationship. We have a great relationship and he tells me 'mum, I thank you for raising me the way you did.' I will say however, that I think my story is unique for many reasons. I had to 'micromanage' my life to ensure that what I understood about brain development and childhood development was applied to him. I also had to find courage in faith against fear and controlled myself against the extreme feelings that could have lead me to hurt, in order to be the parent he needed and to protect him from myself. I say all of this to bring you hope or perspective if that's what you're looking for, but everyone has different amounts of knowledge and a complexity of circumstances that weigh in on decision making. PMDD will test every ounce of strength both parties have and push to a greater understanding of truth. It is the most painful experience of my life. My husband says that I am the most difficult relationship he has had, but the most rewarding. The fact that you are here, shows me that you are searching for answers. That itself is enough to show that you are a good person and I wish you all the best. I have been blocked from making any more comments on this post.
