2017 Ford F150 Raptor RPG Coil Spring Perch Collar Leveling Kit Install. THE EASY and FAST WAY
Просмотров 15 тыс.7 лет назад
This is some information and how I installed the spring collars without disassembling the suspension components that most RUclipsrs do. This method the fastest way, may not be the safest way, so as always do at your own risk. Question comments leave below. Well worth the effort. I chose not to unbolt suspension parts, for less chance for error, no need to re-torque everything.

2005 Mercedes S600 W220 AC Blows Hot Unless its Set to Low
Просмотров 93 тыс.11 лет назад
This Video is for reference only, do this at your own risk. It may not be the best way but it worked for me. Thanks to BenzWorld for great info. Symptom: Ac blows cold only when set to low, any other temp setting it blows hot in manual and in auto modes. All Zones are same no change. NR 01 is the value for "in car tempreture". When that value is 0.0 sensor is probably not working, unless its th...

    Sewms like the biggest problem was the compressor rods hitting the top. Harbor freight has spring compressor for 39$. May get one and just cut the length down some. Should be good.

    after seeing this video I repaired the thermistor in my 04' S500 after years of paying for diagnostics and it never actually being fixed. upon removing the housing it was visually apparent and an obvious blockage of dust and debris on what remained of the temp sensor. the repair was simple, part was stupid cheap, and the proper operation of the W220 climate controls are absolutely dependent upon this one component. with 250,000 miles on the car, this was by far, the least expensive major repair. endless gratitude, thank you for posting the video.

    I had the same issue but my sensor(thermistor) was so bad that I couldn’t solder anything to it and honestly wouldn’t want. So after googling I’ve found that you can buy thermistor and replace it with the existing one that’s bad. Just search on ebay for “ NTC Thermistor temperature sensor bead 10k 1% 3950 “ make sure it has all these spec in order to work correctly Thanks for video!

      I wonder if this is my issue on my w203. If climate control is on my ac works for a few minutes then blows hot. If I turn climate control off it works just fine.

    Thanks for the video. I just did my 18 raptor this weekend, passenger side was easy, driver side not so much. I used a 2x4 across the engine bay from the hood bracket to the front just over the radiator to use the ratchet strap to hold the spring from sliding down. There was just too many wiring sensors in the way. I didn't want to damage any of them. I also took of the air box to pass the the strap through directly over the spring. A little more work but I didn't damage any wiring or sensors. I also used the shankly spring compressors along with 1 regular compressor that I rented at auto zone to be safe. Worked out perfectly

    I commend you for trying something new and thinking outside of the box but I wouldn’t have done it. I have a 18’ Raptor and a GTR. I won’t cut corners on my expensive vehicles. It would have sucked if something broke or the compressors popped off and damaged your $70+k truck..... Glad it worked out for you though!!

    Thank you very much for this video. My AC went out last night and I noticed it was cold only on Low setting. I found this tutorial and removed the circuit board as described and found one of the wires broken exactly like shown in your video. I didn’t replace them as shown in the video, I soldered it where it was broken and reassembled and it works perfectly. It now reads the interior temperature. When I press the RES button for 5 seconds and scroll up to NR 01 the interior temperature is displayed, before I repaired it indicated zero degrees. The entire repair was 20 minutes, thanks again for sharing. Without this video I was going to the dealer to repair.

    I pulled down the console above the rearview mirror. fixed the sensor. But now there is no power to that console AT ALL. NOTHING WORKS. Checked all the fuses and all fuses are good. What did I miss and what went wrong? Did I burn the whole board? Thanks for your help.

      See if it has any numbers on it and Google em. I personally never searched for it. sometimes u can use a very small glasses repair screw, to tap into where the lead enters and solder to it. if it's broke u got nothing to loose.

    • @TheRomkatheman
      @TheRomkatheman 8 лет назад

      +Patrick Macchia i looked at the video again. It's where the subframe meets the main frame. it's best to put it on the jack point right behind the front wheel(there are small knotches), i did not have enough space in the garage for the lift arm of my jack, so I put it in farther.
